Good Thai for Cinncinnati

Kind of hidden off of Montgomery Rd., service is excellent and so is the food. Menu has typical Thai dishes with a few others you don't see too often (such as mango curry). Beer selection is reasonable. Food is fresh and well spiced. Service is good and staff is friendly.

• Pros: Good quality food
• Cons: May be difficult to get to depending on where you live in Cinti

Terrible service, long wait, meager amount of food

I was really excited to try this Thai restaurant while on a business trip in town. Thai cuisine is my favorite and I am very reasonable and this joint simply didn't cut it. The service was absent, it took an eternity to bring the food out and it was about 1/3 of what a typical restaurant will serve for the money. I don't recommend it at all unless you are starving and are trying to survive.

• Cons: bad service, high unit cost food, cheap atmosphere, you'll have to finid someone to seat you

After a very long morning...

After a very early breakfast and a very late meeting, Thai sounded great for a late lunch (2:45pm). I read a review in the Cincinnati Enquirer about Sukhothai and it sounded good, so I decided to order carry out. When I walked in the door, I was immediately told that they had stopped serving. Their hours for lunch are until 3:00pm, so I asked if I can order carry out.

I ordered one of their Deluxe Stir -Fry options with Cashew Nut and Tofu (I'm not a vegetarian, but tofu sounded good at the time).

Needless to say, the food was not good. It was old, left overs. The tofu was hard as a rock (seriously) and you could tell that they reheated everything (possibly in the microwave).

Maybe my experience would have been different if I went for dinner, but I will not give it a try.

This is it for Thai

We like Thai and have eaten at several of our locals but this is the best of them. Service is relaxed, so relax. Beer and wine are available and the house wines are decent. The food is just very well prepared by any measure. The atmosphere is spartan but quiet not exactly a romantic spot. They are a friendly group even to strangers but especially if they get to recognize you. We went for dinner and lunch and both were good. Try anything, you'll probably like it. They are a little agressive on the spicy scale so a 4 if fairly hot.

Great authentic Thai food!

My work requires travel to Cincinnati often, so I've decided to locate good Thai place. Having had too many "too Americanized" (too much sugar) Pad Thai and Curry dishes, I was extremely pleased to discover this place. This place will be The Place for me to eat during my stays in Cincinnati!

The best Thai food!

Sukhothai has the best Thai food in Cincinnati! I eat there on a weekly basis (sometimes more often!) and I love everything they have. I have tried nearly everything on the menu and it is all great! Favorites include Macadami Chicken, Sukhothai Noodle, Chili Paste Fried Rice, and Pad See Ewe. Don't miss!!
