I - along with 42 million others - am very sensitive to gasoline (petrol) based fragrances and products. Unfortunately (even the most expensive) almost ALL of our commercial fragrances, shampoos, lotions, conditioners and all sorts of hair products contain 96% petrol-chemicals - enough to kill a horse after years of use! - I booked an appointment with Taylor-Jameson because of the reviews. On arrival I smelled fragrance and sat down - fully expecting to be overwhelmed by the usual headaches, nausea and bone aches. - Well surprise. After around 15 minutes of not becoming ill I just had to ask WHY I wasn't getting sick. - I was then thoroughly briefed as to how Taylor Jameson is very unlike other salons. They research and find product without dangerous petrol chemicals. Sheer Genius. What a novel approach - first doeth no harm to customers and/or employees! Their products are botanical based (plants) rather than motor oil based. What a difference intelligence makes! My other delight was finding Aubrey. She's gifted. Even though I'm in my sixties I like to appear with it without overstatement. Aubrey not only does a superb job on the cut but is a master at mixing and blending hair color with enough gray to give me my sixties credentials!

Aubrey does my hair sometimes twice a week, and she gave me the most fantastic hair cut i have ever had, she continues to be the most professional and friendly hair stylist i have EVER had, i love the way she does my hair and it was fried when i went to her, but not anymore!!!!

I would advise everyone to ask for Aubrey when they call Taylor Jameson, she Rocks, and has a fabulous personality! Nobody will ever do my hair again as long as Aubrey McDaniel does hair, trust me she is the best and i've been to some high end places.

I love Heather! (but of course... not in THAT way)

My husband and I have been seeing Heather now for almost a year and she is just wonderful. I love how my color and cut looks... it has taken a few years off and I feel like I've got a bit of style again after many years. I recommend her to anyone! And hey, Taylor, if you are reading this... give that girl a raise! ^_^

• Pros: The atmosphere is very youthful and modern with lots of fun magazines and things to read.
• Cons: Neighborhood is a little creepy, but there is usually street parking available to it's a short walk.

Heather is perfection!

I have been going to Heather for over 3 years. I always feel I get her undivided attention when it comes to my color and cut. I have enjoyed super service and the end product is always sleek, sweet, and creative. Taylor Jamison (the salon) has great pride in their service and products. I have recommended her to friends and they too have found great service that they want to stick with. I have trust in her.
