I had my first appointment with this office yesterday. My husband and I have been trying with the help of our fertility doctor for 6 years to get pregnant. Our dream has finally come true and we are looking for an OB. My husband and I waited 1 solid hour before seeing the nurse who was harried and clueless. She took my history and struggled with basic medical information. We finally saw the doctor who was not friendly, went through her regular script and seemed annoyed with anything I said that focused on me instead of "the norm" that she wanted. When I seemed shocked with how long it would be until a doctor would see me again, she said "you're just spoiled." And when she did a pap, that NO ONE told me would be done, she was very annoyed that I had used a medication prescribed by my fertility doctor that contaminated the test. Her exact words were "Don't blame me if they can't read this!" Are you kidding me!?!?! This group was recommended by other doctors as well as several of my coworkers. I hope that this was the exception to the rule, but I will never know. I have no intention of going back for more cold, impersonal, generic treatment. Although we are clearly one of many to them, this baby is everything to my family. Everyone in the office gave me the fake "Congratulations," but you could tell by the blank stare in their eyes that it was just another part of the script they had been taught to say. Not a single person in that office made me feel cared for or special. For that reason, they will not take care of me or my child. What a shame.

Pros: pretty office, easy to get an appointment

Cons: cold and uncarring treatment by doctor, nurse, staff; wait time

I began going to the Mt. Auburn office when I was 19 and am still a patient there. (now 35) I have received the best care and advice regarding Birth Control and Pregnancies! I wouldn't dream of going anyhere else. The Dr's and the staff are all such wonderful, caring people that treat you with the utmost respect! If you are looking for an OB, these are the Dr's for you!

Pros: Great Doctors, Great Locations, Short Waits

I started going to the Mt Auburn Center last year while preg with my 2nd son. I went through the usual rotation, but once I met Dr. Fitzgerald, I refused to see anyone else. He is one of the sweetest, nicest, caring doctors ever. If I had a total hormone moment and broke down in tears, he would immediately address any fears or concerns I had. I always have full confidence in him and his abilities!
