Worth the trip to Clifton

Everything that Chicago Gyros serves is EXCELLENT. Sure, it has a diner atmosphere, but they have the best Gyros, Chicken Tenders, French Fries, and even Dr. Pepper in Cincinnati! I love the Veggie Gyro with warm toasted Pita Bread, fresh/crisp veggies, and huge hunks of awesome feta cheese. This place is one of my favorites in Cincinnati.

• Pros: The Food!!!
• Cons: They only take cash

This unassuming Mediterranean restaurant near UC is the stomping grounds for all those craving the food of the gods. Gyros are the specialty--the thick pitas are packed with juicy lamb and drenched in a zingy cucumber and sour cream dressing (vegetarian gyros substitute a virtual salad for the lamb). Those looking for standard American fare can opt for hot and cold Chicago subs, double deckers and hamburgers.
