AWESOME VINTAGE CLOTHES

It was my first time shopping there and I fell in love. However, I live in Pittsburgh so sadly I can't go there anytime I want. I found 3 beautiful 80's dresses, and I even wore one to my cousins wedding and got a dozen compliments on. The workers were even better. The owner was so nice and was willing to help in any way she could. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you want a unique vintage store...this is your place!

Amazing Coostumes and Vintage Clothes

There isn't a dull clothing-rack in this thrift store. All the clothing has tags dating the decade so if you going for a specific period this is the place to be. The costume selection is huge and amazing - much much better than a standard costume shop - it has really unique clothing from being everything from the cookie monster to captain hook. And if you don't want to buy you can always rent. Staff is exceptional nice!

The Best for Costume Rental and Customer Service

Talk of the Town is the best place to go for costume rental, accessories, and a memorable experience. Whether you are heading to a themed party or dressing your child for a school presentation/performance, this is hands down the best place to go. The selection here is amazing and, seemingly limitless, and the staff makes it their mission to help you find EXACTLY what you're looking for no matter how long it takes or how deep they have to dig! They make the experience fun and I will forever be a customer.

Fabulous Vintage Clothing!

We've been vintage shopping with Talk of the Town for 16 years. That should say a lot right there. And after our last visit, we hadve to say the owner and shop are just a fabulous as ever. Good store layout, easy to shop with Scads of selection, great dresses, menswear and even hats. We loaded up with ladies suits! And the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and professional.

What more can I say except stop wasting shopping time and GO.

Totally Awesome!!! Great Service!!!

I can't really even put into words how great this place is, but I'll do my best. I was having a 1940's themed birthday party and I wanted to find a truely authentic outfit. I had always heard of Talk of the Town but had never checked it out until I needed the party outfit. Nancy and everyone at the shop was great!! They not only helped me find out exactly what I was looking for but they put together the PERFECT authentic outfit, right down to the shoes and earrings!! They even stayed after hours to make sure that me, my mom and sister had exactly what we were looking for!! I would strongly recommend this store to anyone!! I am so happy I discovered this neighborhood treasure and will surely be visiting there again soon!!

IT'S THE A-TEAM....AMAZING CLOTHES, AWESOME STAFF, ASTONISHING AMOUNT OF ACCESSORIES

Who knew that sitting right in the middle of Reading Ohio is treasure trove beyond imagination. This place is awesome. Me and my two grown daughters went looking for 1940 period outfits for a 40's themed birthday party. We absolutely struck gold!!!! We all three found the most perfect party frocks that fit each of us perfectly, not just in our size but our taste as well. We found dresses with red satin cuffs, rhinestone diamond buttons, crinolines, and even an apron just for me. And if scoring the dress of our dreams wasn't enough, Nancy the owner found vintage hats, one with rhinestones and one with feathers, little black gloves and even period jewelry to compliment our outfits. The owner and staff were OUTSTANDING!!! We went into this venture with only a idea of the look we were trying to achieve, but Nancy and her staff pulled it all together and really brought our concept to life. We are so thrilled and are certain that we three will be the most stylish "belles" at the ball. Can't wait to see the photos!!! Highly recommond Talk of the Town to anyone looking for just the PERFECT outfit whether it be for a costume party or just to wear everyday. The quality is of the clothing is top of the line which is just as it should be, because the owner and staff are top notch as well.

Best Vintage Clothing in Cincinnati

Talk of the Town Vintage Clothing located on Reading Rd. is a real gem in the heart of Cincinnati! My sisters and I found this treasure to be a real find, with exquisite vintage clothing and accessories at an affordable price. As longtime collectors and admirers of vintage clothing and antique jewelry we were extremely excited to find a place that kept its merchandise in close to their orginal conditions. Not only was the store fantastic, but the store owner, Nancy Marshall, was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable throughout our visit, sharing her real passion for vintage with us.

We hope to continue coming back to Talk of the Town Vintage Clothing!

Great selection, super service

My mom, two sisters and I all took a special trip from Northern Kentucky to Talk of the Town, just so we could find my sister the perfect rhinestone cuff for a dance. We walked away with two vintage dresses, two purses, a ton of jewelry, and the most amazing hat from the 1940s. The store is amazingly well organized and the owner is kind and extremely helpful. If you like vintage items or just like to have some interesting wardrobe choices, this is the place to go! We'll be going back again and again!

Such fabulous vintage clothing

I collect vintage clothing and I've been shopping at this fabulous store for years. I always find some amazing coat, dress, blouse, or a piece of jewelry that is amazing and one of a kind. I get countless compliments on the things that I purchase at this store. Nancy and her staff are so friendly and helpful and the prices are simply astounding for the quality of the clothing. Vintage clothing stores on the East and West Coasts would charge triple the prices that she does. Great vintage is becoming increasingly harder to find and I feel fortunate to have such a great shop here in Cincinnati.
