I'm not a big collector though I appreciate the comics more than most men in their late 30s. The store has a good selection and variety of comic related merchandise - sculpts, toys, posters. About 2 years ago, I was in search of an Alex Ross poster of Joker and Harley and the service guy swore it didn't exist. Rude and sarcastic like Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons. So, it's not a gender thing as in the other review. I'm always baffled by the niche stores like this that offend people who, with a little helpful service would become an interested regular customer. I always make it to the Earth while I'm in the area, too.
Pros: variety of everything comics
Cons: know-it-all service

I can't remember how long I've been going to the Pleasant Ridge shop. Every few years I'll fall in and out of a hobby and go back. The owner has always been absolutly sincere and through. It's a completely professional and clean atmosphere. Everytime. It's also a good place depending on the day for shoptalk, where employees and customers get into deep discusions about things that don't really matter.
Pros: Clean and courtous
Cons: Back issue selection needs to be updated

I've been a regular customer for several years, and have always been happy with the selection and service. If the Norwood location doesn't have an issue, they're glad to call the Fairfield location and ship it over, or vice versa. They're also willing to help promote local events with a window shelf for flyers. Aside from comics, it's a great place to find current movie posters and collectibles.
Pros: easy to find, good selection
Cons: parking,

As a long time reader of comic books, I expect to go into a shop and get good, friendly service. I know several places I can go to for just that. It's well-lit and in a good location, very easy to find. The store is relatively large and there's a very good selection. While I may recommend this place to a male reader or a regular to that store, I myself, as a female comic reader and a new customer, was treated more like a child than a customer and talked down to, with one of the associates telling me that I was incorrect about a particular comic series existing at all when I had an issue in my car at that very moment. Another person in the store, a male customer, was treated with a considerable amount more respect. A bit of a biased environment, but not bad if you're just there for a quick look around.

I used to go to this store when visiting Cincy from Columbus. This shop is in a good location off I-71 and has a good selection (independent books especially) and fairly knowledgeable staff.
Pros: Conveniently Located
