I don't usually spend a lot of money on Italian. If I do, it had better be good. Primavista is a treat we as a family of four give ourselves occasionally. I also have taken my wife there for anniversaries as well but my teenage kids love it as well. Service is excellent and food has been outstanding. On my son's birthday, he got the bread pudding and said without question it was the best dessert he had ever had at a restaurant. One of my favorite Italian restaurants in town. I like others better for family value, but for romance or special occasion, this is hard to beat. View is magnificant.

Pros: View, setting, food, service

Cons: Good for occasionally splurging

I was very pleased with the restaurant and the overall atmosphere. I went for an anniversary and loved the romantic environment. Even in December the view from the restaurant was amazing and even from the tables towards the rear, which are directed towards the view. The food was very good as well as the service. They had a good wine list and their house salads were magnificent. I would higly recommend it to anyone for a date or celebration or to see Cincinnati from a different view.

Pros: romantic, good service, great view

Cons: hard to get to

This would be the best restaurant that I have ever ate at before. The service was wonderful. Somebody was there as soon as I needed them and I wasnt rushed out the door. The food was great also. Most definetly a five star restaurant.

Pros: The Service, Romantic, The View

Cons: None, None, None

The menu is Italian far beyond the basics. The view is one of the best in the city. If Eastsiders can find their way to this side of the "Sauerkraut Curtain" (Vine Street), they will be comforted to know the windows face East. The food easily equals the menu and the view. The service is attentive and prompt. Reservations are a must.

Pros: Great food, Great view, Great service

Cons: Hard to find

A sunset view and dim lights create a romantic ambience at this Italian favorite.  See the full editorial review.
