Great drinks and Amazing View
by JeremyMelissa
My wife and I stumbled across the pavilion and what an amazing place. We sat outside on the second level deck and had an amazing view of the Cincy skyline and the river. We also drank buckets of Corona for ten bucks. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. This place was great and I will go here everytime I am in Cincy and the weather is nice to be outside.
- Pros: Great outside patio, Awesome drink specials
- Cons: None
This Mt. Adams bar, with a three-tiered deck overlooking downtown Cincinnati, is a winner with locals.

In Short
Detailed murals, plush couches and little luxuries fill this upscale bar. Despite the trendy look, the diverse Mt. Adams clientele is laid-back. Choose from two levels: The top level boasts a DJ playing house music, while the lower level has a more bar-like ambience and a pool table. The four levels of outdoor patios are in high demand during summer months when live music is performed.
There's no better place to enjoy the vista of the city--or the young, single crowd therein.

The Scene
Four levels of outside decks make this a perfect spot to grab a beer with friends in the summer or enjoy a hot toddy around the fire in the fall.
The Food
The Pavilion offers a typical selection of appetizers (nachos, quesadillas, chicken fingers), sandwiches, salads and specialty pizzas, including mashed potato and Reuben varieties.
The 'Hood
Mt. Adams is a Mecca of specialty boutiques, fine restaurants, and upper-scale bars. It's safe to walk around the streets and visit the area shops and galleries. The area has a uniquely San Francisco feel that attracts a hip, urbane type of pub-goer.
cool weekend spot
by drod
Pavilion definately gets packed on the weekends with a more trendy crowd, and that's definately cool. Drink specials don't exist however, but service for the most part is pretty prompt. They have some good beats going on there, and its nice to be able to play pool all the while. The deck provides awesome scenary.
- Pros: music, crowd, location
Weeknight Hideaway
by Noser
Tried this place out for the first time with some friends on a Tuesday night. The view of the city from the several large and comfortable decks was excellent! This might be a good place to catch a beer and a meteor shower; the view of the southern sky from the top of Mt. Adams was fantastic. The beer selection was typical but the decor was dark and artsy. There is a pool table, and a great jukebox. I heard the place gets crowded with a younger crowd on weekends, but on a weeknight it feels like a private tree-fort with a liquor licence. I will be going back for sure.
The bar maids seemed a little confused, they brought me someone else's credit card and it took three of them to solve the puzzle, then they undercharged our party for drinks. Nothing wrong with that either...
- Pros: view, outdoor deck, parking area
- Cons: MTV crowd on weekends, confused waitstaff, wretched bathroom
Great on Saturday
by buddy5
Great on Friday and Saturday. A nice alternative to going downtown. It might be the best place to hook up on Saturday in town. Food is ok. Hook up and then go to the top deck to make out....
