The Scene
Discriminating coffee drinkers stop daily to get their caffeine fix. Numerous coffees--dark and light roasted, blended and flavored--are on hand and available by the cup or in bulk. The folks working the shop will gladly grind the coffee to your specifications, offer recommendations based on your preferences and chat with you about different coffee varietals.

The Food
First comes the coffee: blends like Vesuvius (dark roasted), Heart of Darkness (African) and Phat Tuesday (chicory added) work well without tasting too cluttered. Fair Trade coffees are stocked along with some decafs and specialty teas. Espresso drinks are tasty and do the trick when you're looking for a quick jolt. Scones and muffins go well with your hot beverage, as do brownies and "caffeine bombs" (chocolate covered espresso beans).
