Beautiful Setting... not sure about the 'Extras'

by triskalyn

This is a lovely little park way out in the country. The closest gas station is at least 5 minutes away, the closest resturant is probably in Lebanon, about 10 minutes away. I live right up the road from the park and when I saw this entry, I couldn't help but laugh at the section that states "Argosy Casino and Resort is just down the road in Indiana." If by just down the road you mean at least an hour drive, then sure. Just take a look at a map and see how far the Indiana state line is from Oregonia. If you were planning to include both the Mounds and the Casino in the same trip, make sure you plan accordingly.

With an eye to the past, the ancient serpent mounds and lush greenery are a sight for city-sore eyes.
