we just moved to cincinnati a month ago and came across jungle jims by accident looking for a kroger at first we were not sure what it was, we thought it was some sort of amusement park! but once we went inside we loved it. I have 3 children and i NEVER take them grocery shopping with me because they get bored and complain but i have taken them with me every time i have been to jungle jims and they love it. i usually let them pick out a small sample bag of jelly belly jelly beans from back by the bakery on our way out and they love to get to choose form like 50 flavors of jelly beans. my kids also really enjoy feedign the ducks on the way out. i enjoy getting a starbucks frappachino and walking around getting all my grocerys i dont find them any more expensive than kroger. my kids have talked about jungle jims so much my family cannot wait until they can visit and see jungle jims for themselves........
Pros: HUGE selection, kids stay busy and don't complain, great clean bathrooms!
Cons: the store is so big i feel like i still havent seen everything even after being there 10+ times

this is by far the COOLEST place ever.. is it an amusement park or .. is it a grocery store? I don't care how crowded it is.. or how huge it is. i love getting lost in there.. palm trees, aquariums, singing animals.. there is so much to see. I always leave happy. GO THERE IT'S AMAZING!!

If I'm looking for exotic foods, this is the place I go. However, I never shop for staple foods nor "American" foods. It's too expensive and the store is set up very user unfriendly. Perishables would perish before I'd leave the Jungle.
Pros: good exotic selection, money to expand, Jungle is hilarious
Cons: expensive, bad floor plan, take too long to shop

Wow! Is what you say when you walk into acres of food & beverages. The variety is endless. Currently they are adding several acres onto the grocery and a strip mall.
Pros: Variety, Atmosphere, So Big
Cons: Expensive, Crowded, So Big

I went with my spouse - with no expectations - to kill time. I was amazed! We spent almost an hour in the beer section. Had I gone after reading all these wonderful reviews it may not have been the same (high expectations). We went on a Saturday and it was really crowded. They have a really deep selection of quality items. They are also adding on which seems like a hard thing to do.
Pros: Selection, Quality, Unique
Cons: Crowded on Weekends, Don't take Amex, Overwhelmed 1st time

Going to Jungle Jim's was truly an experience. The building really grabs your attention. There is some kind of light-rail contraption outside that is reminiscent of Disney's monorail (just not working). The comparison continues inside the way it is divided into different "countries", much like Epcot. There are various animatronic animals singing throughout the store much like the It's a Small World ride. The selection of beer, wine, cigars, and food is absoltely mind-boggling. It is worth the trip!
Pros: Variety

Going to Jungle Jim's is like taking a nice break from it all and remembering jolly old England. The British isle is the best part of the store by far. Well, the Ireland room comes pretty close. Absolutely fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: EVERYTHING, best cheese, best imports
Cons: NONE

This is a must place for everyone to visit at least once. It is so corney, yet I go in there & can never come out without something that I've never tried before! Go ahead, get a little adventerous! Try a hot sauce, a "foreign" food, a trip without leaving the city! FUN!!
