VERY EXPENSIVE

I went in for a trim of the bottom of the back of my hair. The stylist that I had was a brand new hairstylist and had just graduated. I do know that everyone needs to start somewhere, but to charge 40 dollars for a trim was a little rediculous. Also she probably only spent 10 minutes with me if that.

The waiting area isn't comfortable. The owner who seems to always be there is VERY VERY VERY PUSHY.

does anyone know where the new chappies is in ft mitchell? I cant find it listed anywhere. I called a little over a month ago and there was a message saying that they were under new ownership and moving to ft mitchell and would be reopening in mid october????

going down hill fast

I want to start off by saying that most of the good reviews written on this page were written by the 19 year old manager who spends her day writting good reviews on the chappies web sight and bad reviews on any other salon that has former employees of chappies working for them. I unlike them did not try to prentend I was some one else while writing this review because i am writting nothing that is not true I beleive that this was once a good salon where people enjoyed working

for the record at one point there was on an average tweenty something stylist working at chappies now they have 4 not including the wife who if you ask her clients rarley shows up for her appointments and for those of you that saw the show that is the real heather and the mother theresa bit is just an act with out a thought she would turn her back on you with no question asked. I was under the impression when i began working for chappies i would be working for a nice christian family who would treat all of their employees equal well surprise i was wrong they are judgemenal and think they are better then every one that walks into that salon and if the dont start putting there clients and stylist first and treat them with respect and fairness there will soon be no need for reviews to be placed o this wall because there wont be a salon.

they fixed my mess!

I am naturally brown haired, and wanted to go blond. So I went to this other salon in the area and they turned my hair ORANGE. So i called around to a few different salons and told my situation and Chappies was definatley the nicest. The girl on the phone assured me that they would take care of me, and I would leave there 100% happy. I went in the next day, and just like they said they fixed it 100% and i was absolutley satisfied. And the staff was really really sweet. love this place

only salon i'd ever go

came here once a year or so ago, and it was okay.

went two weeks ago and now that they're under new management its way better. Attractive people, nice atmosphere, and fairly priced. Who can beat that?

The ONLY salon in the Greater Cincinnati Area that will special order me the product I want. SUPER nice people

• Cons: parking at night is sparce because of Outback.

I had my wedding party of 9 women and 1 child here in January. Everything was perfect. They had a special, closed off, private section for specially for my wedding party. They let my photographer come in to take pictures. Plus the price was very, very reasonable. Not to mention all of my girls hair looked amazing!

I recently moved to Cincinnati from Los Angeles. I have the Hairdreams Hair Extensions, and when I told my LA salon i was moving to Cincinnati, they referred me to Chappies, because they also do they same extensions. I scheduled my first appointment and wow! The staff at chappies was awesome! More then accomidating to whatever I needed. AND my extensions looked incredible!! I highly highly recommend this salon!!!!!

NEVER AGAIN

I must say i have had my color done there for months decided to get extensions and paid a nice amount of money for them. They will not straighten correctly but yet they will not correct it, basically said i may not being using my flat iron properly well i went to hair school and have been straightening my hair for a long time, funny thing is the rest of my hair is straight just not the extensions that you can point out very easilly. They were rude when i called had to have some removed because the hurt my head and felt like my hair was ripping out. I will not ever use the salon again. I havent even had them for 2 weeks. Had to remove half of them becasue they looked so bad. They said i need ot use product, maybe that should be told before you pay fro them..Worst expirence ever. Thought they where known for their image. NOT..Un believeable, is all I can say. And the ones they remove that hurt oh they dont replace them you are just out.

Was not what I expected...

Well I was pretty disappointed in this salon and felt that the holy than thou owner Heather needs to pray a little more on herself. Heather came across very snotty and rude. I do not find a salon whose owner presents her breast out to the public to be any where professional. I later viewed them on a show called Split Ends and was not surprised that Heather presented herself as a witchy and cold diva. I felt that Christian/Crystal present themselves more professional than the owners. I will give Freddy a positive that it was good to see him allow Christian/Crystal to have their day in the salon. It was nice to see him stand up to his negative and obviously controlling wife. It was awful to see how difficult it seemed for others to work there with the warden Heather having the salon quiet and professional (only according to Heather). I feel those who work for her or anyone else she love their job and have a good time with their enviroment and it definitely doesn't show in Chappie's! I hope others know that Chappie's is not the only place here in Crescent Springs.

Terrible Salon

First of all I spent a fortune at Chappies getting hair extensions there about 4 times. That was my fault that I went back there and did not find another place. There was always so much drama going on and stylists talking bad about each other. I heard from numerous people that Heather dealt coke and even tried to buy it from customers. As soon as I heard about this I decided I should find another salon. I cannot believe the episode on Split Ends, were Heather and Freddy payed a bunch of money to act all Holy?

This place is such a waste of money, there are quite a few other great salons not far away. LaBella does extensions by the way, and they're much better and less expensive than HairDreams.

• Pros: Shannon was a great stylist but she's gone
• Cons: I think my post says it all
