An experience! by Beatrice D. at InsiderPages

If you want to experience dining on a sternwheeler on the Ohio river, that is where you want to go to. The view is great, especially at night. Since it is located right next to the suspension bridge in Covington, KY, you have a straight shot at D'town Cincinnati,OH. The variety on the menu is great, but I would recommend any of the fish items!
With riverboat dining and one of the best views in the city, romance is in the air.

In Short
Situated on a refurbished riverboat, the restaurant's fresh flowers and white linen tablecloths create an elegant , yet business-casual, ambiance. The menu is more sophisticated than the rough-and-tumble Mike Fink, a legendary keel-boatsmen. Apart from the many surf, turf and pasta entrees, make your way to one of the best raw bars in the city for Alaskan King crab legs, South American prawns, Blue Point oysters, unshelled Gulf shrimp and Cherrystone clams.
- Pros: romantic view

I'm from New Jersey and have dined around the world. The raw bar is excellent (you don't often see cherrystone clams in Kentucky) and the Chilean sea bass was as good as I've ever been served. My wife loved her halibut as well. The service was outstanding, and the view is interesting (we were there just after a terrible storm and watched the flotsom drifting down the river). It was a bit pricey, but well worth every cent! I don't know where that guy who hated the place is coming from.
- Pros: Fresh seafood, Super, fresh raw bar, View on the river
Thank god they have a view

Dinner was awful, service was poor and the prices a joke, good thing I came for the view... the fish was dry and over cooked, the vegetables were cold and bland (broccoli, big deal) and the rice was burned. i also tried a very disappointing order of mussles in white wine and garlic. they don't even us fresh garlic, it's the bottled stuff!!!

If you like raw oysters this place has the best in the city. Nice in size and decent price. Just came from Ft. Lauderdale and from Annapolis, MD and both places had smaller oysters at higher prices!
I'm not too worried about the tables vs ppl thing.
- Pros: Raw Bar, Uncrowded
