I had looked at different web sites before I decided to go to the dentist - they had a good descrition of what they offer on their website - dcof - but that is a hard name to remember. When I called for an appointemtn, I was happy that it was only going to be 5 days to get in for an appointment (and I was a new patient here). The waiting room was a little dated - but I only waited for about 15 minutes. I wound up seeing a female dentist - she was great. She took some xrays and gave me a few ioptions - I had some things I needed fixed right away - and others that could wait. She didn't pressure me to do the most expensive things (all the crowns). I decided on something I could afford, and she got it started right away. I came back the following week and happened to see Dr. Laws - I was a little afraid I would be starting at the beginning, but he picked up right where the other dentist left off. I got what I needed done - and know what I need to do in the future. The prices were great compared to what some of my friends have paid for what similar things. I have complete confidence in the work that they did. I had been at opther offices in the past where you sit waiting forever and they charge a fortune - this was much better. I would recommend them to my friends. The only downside I can had was the parking lot had a quite a few potholes - but they said their landlord was going to fix that soon this spring. That is pretty good if that is all I can think of for cons for seeing a dentist!
Pros: Gave me all my options. I liked both of the dentists I saw.
Cons: Not many cons- maybe the parking lot?

Sometimes in writing these reviews, the reviewer has to look at the ‘big picture’. Being one who ended up at this clinic because I was traumatized by a dentist at an early age, I have to respect the way this clinic treats the children, and I give them 5 stars for that. I have to say I had problems here, but I failed to realize that the doctors where as frustrated as I was and in the end, their goal was to make everything right and make the customer happy. Reviewers need to realize that only God makes things that are perfect and with a tolerant attitude things can always be worked out, for both sides. I respect this clinic and what they are doing and I would hope that others would at least try their service. When the staff and the doctors all remember you when you walk in, you feel at ‘home’ and if you communicate, they are willing to listen. All things considered: you can’t go wrong with The Dental Center of Florence.
Pros: Doctors, staff and atmosphere
Cons: Parking and appointment times
