I like this place!!!!

I travel a lot, go to tons of bars. This one stands out as one of the better ones. Bartenders attentive... even the guy. Excellent food for bar food. Good looking crowd. HUGE bar with lots of TVs to look at. I play NTN, apparently some of the best trivia players in the country play here. I could even gamble at KENO. Look forward to coming back to Cincinnati and BARGO'S

• Pros: Nice bartenders, good food, pool tables
• Cons: none stand out, maybe their sign outside

Would Never Go Back

This was my first and last visit...The bartender was so busy laughing and joking with her friends she had no time to service the customers...Not only did I have to get her attention after waiting for 5 minutes, but when she did make my drink she slammed it on the bar and snatched the money from my hand as if her job was not to bartend....Like I said before, First and Last visit....I would not recommend the place ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long do YOU get for lunch????

We occassionally go there for lunch. There has NEVER been more than 10 people in the bar, so it's not busy. It takes a while to get waited on, then about 40-45 minutes to get your food. Today we had 3 people in our lunch group, they brought meals out about 7 minutes apart. Can the cook not handle 3 orders at one time? There were only 10 people in the bar. The cook must make 1 meal at a time. HELLO...we do not have all afternoon to sit and wait for our food, we work. Good food if you have the time.

Disappointed

I used to love to go to Bargo's than I went there & used my bank card, I was charged to much on bank card & I called numerous times to have this problem fixed & I never received any return phone calls & than when I would call back could not even get someone to answer the phone, this cause a negative balance in my account & I really felt as though Bargo's owner just did not care about this mistake & acted as though a custome did not matter, so I do not recommend for ANYONE to go there, if you do make sure you have cash!! I am usually not a negative person & would not act this way but when you treat ppl w/disrespect, expect the same in return

Great Dj/Karaoke on wednesday nights

I was impressed with bargos. Plenty of room was a plus! I go to the other bargos locations as well there is two in the dayton area one in centerville and one on brown street by university of dayton, My favorite thing about bargos is the entertainment,wednesday night they have a entertainment company come in and they play music and have karaoke. Hybrid Entertainment is their name i actually followed hybrid from bargos dayton location to here because they were so good im there every wednesday now! Hope this helps!!

great bar food, great service, love the atmosphere

The food is very good. The bartenders are attentive and always smiling. Big bar surrounded by lots of tvs. Theres a hotel right next door so it's great for those of you not wanting a DUI. Plus the owner of the place is super-friendly and really nice to look at.

Awesome Bar

Great food. Best place in town to go for lunch and/or after work.

Most of the bar staff are top notch.

I love that place... Granted the service is better if you go there often, but its a great Atmosphere. They will make any drink you can come up with... It?s a very fun place and not far from home... I love it!

Happy with Bargos

I make a point of checking out all the local bars. Been coming to BARGO'S since it opened. Happened to be online and found this sight, had to leave a review. There's nothing like this place around. Massive shiny bar with tons of TVs and good bartenders. Not a place to go for a night out for dinner, but definitely a place to go after dinner. Food is good, but good bar food. It's all about the atmosphere. Service can get slow during busy times, but that happens anywhere that's happening.

No Service

In more than 26 years of barhopping I have never been ignored by a bartender. Especially when I ask for a drink, however that's what happen on my visit into Bargos. Upon my return to class I found over 6 other people have had the same problem, lack of service by the bar staff. I felt hurt and angered that I came in for a good time and was the opposite after the visit to Bargos. As an instructor I do not recommend this bar to any of my students, up to 12 new students per week. Marco
