Damn good food

I loved the food here. I've never had the "1 burger night" experience but for a evening meal when its not to crowded its nice! One issue! If you get buffalo chicken is EXTREMELY hot..

Other than that. Loved the place. I could see why it would have slow service.. I just recommend going when its not as busy.

This is my favorite place to go when I'm in town. The staff is very busy- but they're all fun. The happy hour is not to be challenged- ITS THE BEST EVER!!!

Now, all the reviewers that mentioned $1 burger night.... you are cheap, and unfair- when 600 ppl come in all at once to purchase the best burger in town for a buck...... you better be cool waiting. Get real.

Great Singles Scene!!

This place is awesome! Me and my friends have been here in the past and aon occasion the service has been scetchy but, our last few visits were great. They have a great scene, good music, big strong drinks and a good crowd. We took a large group of girls there last time and had a blast with our server! Highly reccomend getting the nachos and the late night happy hour!

Hit or Miss Service

Service is always hit or miss with this place. But even when it's hit...it's not that great. Wednesday nights are $1 burger nights, which are a great value....if you can get anyone to take your order. We have come in small and large groups and both have had troublesome waitstaff. sometimes rude or frustrated, once we even had one invent an emergency to explain away her poor performance only to find out she lied. You finally get a decent server and they quit. We have made Bar Louie a regular gathering place for several months now because of the $1 burger and happy hour specials, but sadly, the service is so terrible that we have actually had to leave hungry because no one came around to take our order. We won't be going there anymore.

I gave it more than a chance

I have been going to Bar Louie weekly for several months now and most of the time the service is NOT good. I am with a large group and I can understand that it is not easy to wait on us, but consistently we seem to get the new server who gets totally flustered and seems to not be able to handle our needs. I find the establishement to be poorly run. Sevice is very slow; staff have been very rude on more than one occasion; people get ignored at my table and bills are more often than not wrong or scrambled. Change is often wrong as well.

• Pros: Excelent Burgers, Big Salad, Airy, not too smokey
• Cons: Very poor sevice, Stale Garlic Bread, Apathetic staff

Don't waste your Time

We have visted this restaurant twice. The first time it was crowded and the hostess was very rude. We sat at a bar table waiting forever to get called to get a table. Thinking we'd give this another try, we went again. There were maybe 5 tables seated. We got seated and waited and watched other waitresses passing us by knowing we hadn't been waited on. Finally one of us went and told the hostess that we had been sitting there for 10 min and no one had come to even take our drink order. She said someone would be right over. 5-10min later, no one. As we got up to leave, the waitress that had passed us by several times seeing our menus closed on the table, says "have a good evening." We spoke to the manager, no help there. This bar is poorly run and very rude.
