I'm not normally a boutique girl as my fashion sense is pretty much non existent, but I wanted to buy some cute fashionable clothes for going out. A friend recommended Boogaloos so I thought I'd give it a try. I was amazed at how helpful the staff were - they picked out items for me to try on and gave me their honest opinions on what worked/didn't work for me. I normally don't like to shop but I can honestly say they made it a fun experience. Will definitely be going back soon to add to my new fashion wardrobe!

I agree with the negative reviews. Very pushy staff; uncomfortable atmosphere. They seem a little desperate. Always on the lookout for a good boutique, but, if you are looking for a cute outfit and a good shopping experience, you will not find that here. Good luck.
Pros: location
Cons: everything else

Boogaloos is the best boutique to shop if you are searching for an honest answer! The owner & her staff have always given me their true opinion on clothing & jewelry that I've selected. I've shopped here for 5 years and will continue to do so. Boogaloos offers incredible sales several times a year and has a great selection to choose from.
Pros: Customer service, selection

I don't normally write reviews but I was in Boogaloos the other day and thought I'd really should write something. I love this store, because I can always find exactly what I'm looking for any occasion. They have casual, dresses, and trendy stuff I can wear to work. I do admit I hate going to the mall so I mainly only go to boutiques and I think they are one of the best in Atlanta. I don't feel like I'm being oversold or pushed to buy anything (unlike some boutiques) yet I can still find cool and trendy clothes. The prices do have a good range - you can find stuff for $50 or some nicer things closer to $100. Some dresses may be more expensive but they are usually worth it since you'll have something unique to wear! I highly recommend it.
Pros: variety and unique clothes

I have shopped at Boogaloos for years, and have never felt pushed upon by the sales staff. The selection of clothing appeals to many body types and ages. I have never felt like a clown in anything I have purchased from this stylish and affordable store. Boogaloos has much to offer, and it is wrong to say that it only caters to tall, thin, wealthy twenty-somethings. If you want good selection and helpful (and honest) sales staff Boogaloos is one of the best boutiques in Atlanta.

I shop at Boogaloos all the time and love the clothes! They have a great selection for all body types and the staff is always very helpful without being pushy. It's a fun place to go and see what's new for the season in clothes, bags, and jewelry!

I love Boogaloos! As someone who is not tall and thin, I have great luck with the dresses they carry. I find all of the sales staff very helpful and polite, particularly the owner who truly knows the lines she carries. I go there often and have never felt the pressure to purchase anything and really appreciate that all of the sales staff always tell me that "if you don't love it, then you shouldn't buy it". I have had to return some items, but was always happy to recieve the store credit (signage is visibly posted at the cash register that returns will only be given store credit). I love that the items I buy at Boogaloos cannot easily be found at the Mall. I recommend this store to any woman is looking for a fun shopping experience!

Wow - that review is SO surprising. I have been shopping at Boogaloos since they opened over 6 years ago and ALWAYS had amazing service. It's been such a luxury to shop where I can get assistance from the sales people. No one has ever forced a purchase on me ... in fact, it's refreshing to get an honest opinion, because we all know not everything looks good on everyone! Well, I am not deterred - Boogaloos remains on my list of best place to shop, and I will continue to recommend this fabulous boutique.
Pros: Unique brands; sales staff shares their great fashion sense

Wow, I really encountered a hateful salesgirl. She'll push something on you that you really don't want, and then when you question it, she turns into Godzilla. I would avoid that place at all costs, particularly if you try to return something! It is really unbelievable.

If you are a tall, slim, wealthy 20-year old and you want to dress like a clown, then you might consider shopping here. However, be aware, the owner is downright hateful and hostile if you close and transaction and ask for a refund two hours after you bought an article of clothing. She threw words at me like "lawyer", and "document" and let me know she had my credit card number if I tried to dispute the charge. Based on her unstable demeanor, I went home and cancelled the card. It was surreal, I could not believe how I was treated, she was actually shaking. I think she has had unhappy customers before, that is why she consulted a lawyer regarding her return policy. What ever happened to customer service? I have spent over $500 in this store previously, I think I qualify as a good customer. Incidently, I don't wear any of the ridiculous outfits she pushed on me and I bought, I just ask myself, what was I thinking? Well, she has my $100 (this is the price for one sweater) and I don't want to go back in there -- very bad energy. All this unhappiness because I just wanted convenience and a new outfit. Next time, I will not be so quick to avoid Lenox. Bill Hallman and Mitzi and Romano always leave me happy. As you see, most of these posts are from 2002, so the heyday is over ladies, don't waste your time. Sorry Decatur, I tried.
Pros: None
Cons: Narrow Variety; Bad Customer Service; Overpriced
