Located in one of Beechmont Avenue's many strip malls, Margaritas offers the usual array of burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, chimichangas and other Mexican standbys. There are a few surprises, such as the shrimp ceviche, "cooked" in lime juice and served ice-cold with tomato, onion, peppers and avocado. House specialties include the steak Margaritas (a New York strip topped with onions, mushrooms and Monterey jack), carnitas (stewed pork tips) and camarones Vallarta (broiled shrimp wrapped in bacon).
