RED SQUIRREL PRICES. I HAVE VISITIED RED SQUIRREL FREQUENTLY. THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT AND ALWAYS FRESH.

I WENT TO THE RED SQUIRREL AT PRINCETON PLAZA ON DECEMBER 30 FOR DINNER. I DECIDED TO GET AN ORDER OF GOETTA AND AN ORDER OF TOAST. IN ALL FAIRNESS I DID NOT LOOK AT THE MENU PRICES. THE GOETTA WAS A SIDE ORDER. WHEN I GOT THE BILL I WAS CHARGED $4.20 FOR ONE SLICE OF GOETTA. THAT WAS WHAT WAS LISTED ON THE MENU BUT I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH. I COULD GET A WHOLE ROLL OF GOETTA FOR $3.99. I THINK THEY COULD AT LEAST GIVE YOU 2 SLICES FOR THAT PRICE.

Soups, sandwiches and other classic dishes that make diners great.. In Short
Breakfast is served all day at the Red Squirrel, which means omelettes, eggs, goetta, and other ways to start the day can also make a nice dinner. The sandwiches are big--even the singles can make two meals. The double (or triple) deckers could feed the family, or at least your date. The hot sandwichs don't disappoint either, with combinations like grilled cheese and bacon or ham and swiss on rye.

Amazing Breakfasts and Sandwiches. I love goetta, always get the goetta omlette and it is always great.

You can count 100% on the food, but sometimes the service is questionable depending on who you get as your waiter.
