This practice cost me 3 babies, almost 4. My son was born almost 2 months early. Although they never told me I had a Progesterone issue, I was told I would get injections with future pregnancies as a preventitive measure. However when it was time for another baby, I miscarried 3 times. After the 2nd miscarriage, I asked for Progesterone and I was told no, that wouldn't help and Progesterone was not my issue.

After the 3rd miscarriage, I consulted another doctor and right there in my file was a paper with my Progesterone level with my son. This doctor said that they would never have expected a pregnancy to survive with a level that low. I was never told of this issue or offered medication, it's a miracle my son was just a preemie and not another lost child.

In addtiion, the practice was cold and unfeeling regarding the miscarriages. I realize this is a common occurance to them, but to my family, we lost 3 babies and they could have shown a little compassion.
