It's ok but could be much better. chipotle is true quality Mexican flavor, but will very restaurant to restaurant. Using that flavor as as the standard, Rincon needs to step it up alot! They just need one better cook is all it would take to show what is possible for this wonderful cuisine.
The BEST place for Mexican food in town.
This is by far the best Mexican restaurant we have eaten at and we have tried them all. You can't beat Rincon's staff for their friendliness and service. The food is always fresh and tastes great. You always get your money's worth with their portion sizes and price. The bar staff are at the top of their game and all drinks (including the best tasting margarita's in town) are served with a smile.
In our opinion, Rincon definitely gets a five star rating!
Please pass on our wishes to them to keep up the good work.
Thank you,
Larry and Marlene Cottrill
My favorite Mexican restaurant. My wife and I, our family, and many of our friends have been eating at Rincon Mexicano for many years on a once-per-week basis and have NEVER been disappointed. The food is excellent (especially the Mexican Flag), the jalapenos are HOT, the service is friendly and casual, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is family owned and operated, and the family is great with the customers. We have always been made to feel "special". I could not recommend a place more highly than this one. I look forward to our "Rincon" night.
Absolute Favorite Mexican Restaurant Ever. My husband and I have been going to Rincon forever and we always take our friends/family/out-of-town guests to share our favorite mexican cuisine. The owners and staff are the best and always make everyone feel like their favorite customers. We love the food and margaritas and always look forward to lunch or dinner there.
Best Mexican In Town. My wife and I have been going here almost from the day they opened up. We have tried other Mexican Restaurants in the Cincinnati area and when we travel and we always kept coming back to Rincon. Now it's the only Mexicon Restaurant we eat at. We go there every Friday night, they have a great menu selection and the absolute best salsa and cheese dip. We have gotten to know the owners and the staff and find them to be very friendly and helpful and we always recommend Rincon to all are friends and family.
Awesome dining experience. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to frequent, when visiting in Cincinnati. I live in San Diego, CA and Ive been to numerous Mexican resaurants. This ranks right on top with the ones back home. The dining atmosphere is very friendly. The servers and bartenders were very accomadating and the owner even sat at my table to welcome me to the midwest. I savored the sizzling steak fahita for my dinner. I can't wait to visit there again in April to try another dish from their authentic Mexican menu.
Very delicious, very affordable.. The restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere for dates or accommodates large parties for a lively get-together. The menu provides a large selection for those who want authentic mexican or for those who are trying it for the first time and want something "simple". The wait-staff is always friendly and courteous.I reccommend the cheese dip to start out the meal followed by (I can't remember the mexican name for it) the cheese-onion-mushroom smothered steak. Delish!
absolutely the best mexican in the u.s.. The food is incredible, the servers are quick and friendly, and the owners are very personable!!!! My fiance and I eat there at least once a week. I get the cheese dip every time and the salsa is as good as my mom makes!! Mmmmmmm. They have the best margaritas, mango is my favorite. The food prices are very affordable, too. You should definately go there. You will not be disappointed!!!!
Avoid if at all possible. I have eaten at Rincon once a month FOREVER! I have never had a problem or complaint until my most recent experience. I discovered a small piece of plastic in my meal, and the servers and management could not have handled it worse. Upon discussing the 'object' with the manager (who I had to approach) I was told " that could have come from anywhere, I don't even know what that is " and "what do you EXPECT me to say ". I actually had to coach an apology out of him, and then it was not any where near sincere. I will NEVER eat at Rincon Mexicano again, and I intend to tell all of my family and friends to do the same. This is my first time post, but I hope someone reads it and heeds my word.
Hearty, sumptuous entrees from a stacked Mexican menu..
In Short
Within the stucco walls and terracotta overlays of Rincon, gracious servers create an authentic atmosphere and a pleasant, comfortable dining experience. The seemingly endless menu is chock full of multiple selections from within the fajita, burrito, enchilada, quesadilla and chicken categories. Vegetarian anc children's are available as well. For dessert, go with the sopapilla with ice cream (a flour tortilla deep fried to a golden brown and topped with honey and cinnamon).
