The Scene
The 200-seat restaurant is upbeat in decor and spirit. Dining rooms are cheerful and bright with hanging plants, wood sculptures and some exquisite Chinese artifacts. A huge dragon head mask adorns the archway to mark the Chinese New Year. Weekends are packed with dim sum brunchers--lots of Chinese families and couples, young and old.
The Food
The Vietnamese vermicelli is a plateful of transparent noodles seasoned with shrimp, calamari, crab meat and cilantro. The steamed pike is outstanding, presented in an oval platter with impeccably fresh garden vegetables garnished with ginger and scallions and lightly sauced with soy. The family dinner is an unbeatable deal with three kinds of appetizers, soup, entrees of house steak and orange chicken and fried rice. Make time for weekend dim sum, which is loud and festive.

If you want to pay high prices just to be seen at a trendy type place. The food was good but overpriced. The sushi was good. If you don't mind paying more to be seen somewhere then it's right up your alley. If you aren't one of those people, and I hope you're not, then go somewhere else and save some money.

Call first, they are moving from what they told us. The food is quite good and they have a full liquor license. We found the pricies to be a little high for Chinese fair but the atmosphere is way better than most. Service was not too aggressive and we like that. If you are in a hurry, you better say something when you sit down. We've eaten here a few times and always have been happy with our meals. This is probably the most authentic and complete Chinese restaurant in town.

My wife and I have been visiting this place over the past 4 years mainly for its dimsum brunch on weekends. We were initially very thrilled and were very fond of the selections. Lately, however, we find the food so-so. It also tends to be a bit too greasy. Overall, however, it is a decent place to have dimsum especially if one misses these traditional Chinese bruch fare. Compared with some of the best dimsum one can get, say in New York, or Hong Kong, this is probably an average place. Line can be long at peak lunch hour so come early (e.g. 11:30) to beat the crowd. Service is nothing to brag about.
