If you love your pet DON'T TAKE THEM HERE!!!!. I RECIEVED A MAMAL BITE NOTICE OF VIOLATION FORM FROM HAMILTON COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT FILED BY NOAHS ARK ANIMAL CLINIC. MY CAT WHOM HAS NEVER BEEN AGGRESIVE HAD A VERY PAINFULL SURGERY PERFORMED AT THIS CLINIC AND HAS BEEN SEEN 2 MORE TIMES WITHIN 3 WEEKS AFTER THE SURGERY. AT NO TIME WAS I EVER INFORMED THAT MY CAT HAD EVER BITTEN ANYONE.

I CONTACTED COLERAIN ANIMAL CLINIC AND WAS GIVEN A TRISH LEIS TO SPEAK WITH. I WAS OBVIOUSLY UPSET AND HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON. SHE TOLD ME MY CAT HAD BITTEN A WORKER AFTER HIS SURGERY, AGAIN MY CAT WAS SEEN TWICE SINCE THIS ALLEGED INCIDENT. WHEN I ASKED HER WHY I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS SHE SAID "THATS A GOOD QUESTION" THEN PROCEDED TO TELL ME I WAS BEING RUDE AND IF THEY WANTED TO PERSUE THIS THEY COULD HAVE MY CAT EUTHANIZED, CUT OFF HIS HEAD AND SEND IT OUT TO STUDY. I HAVE SPENT IN EXCESS OF $2000 AT COLERAIN ANIMAL CLINIC TRYING TO SAVE MY PRECIOUS CAT ONLY TO BE THREATENED BY TRISH LEIS TO HAVE HIM KILLED AND HIS HEAD CUT OFF. WHO WAS THIS WOMAN AND WHAT AUTHORITY DID SHE HAVE TO MAKE SUCH A HORRID THREAT TO ME. WELL I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH HER SUPERVISOR OR WHOEVER WAS HER IMMEDIATE BOSS ONLY TO BE TOLD BY HER THAT THE OWNER WAS RETIRED AND SHE WAS THE BOSS.

I CONTACTED THE HAMILTON COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT IN TEARS AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD NOT PUT MY CAT TO SLEEP AND THAT COLERAIN ANIMAL CLINIC DEFFINATELY DID NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO DO SO.

AFTER SOME MORE RESEARCH I FOUND THAT THRISH LEIS IS MARRIED TO ONE OF THE VETS THAT IS RELATED TO THE OWNER. I GUESS THAT GIVES HER THE RIGHT TO SAY SHE CAN HAVE MY CAT KILLED THAT I PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO HER CLINIC TO HAVE SAVED.

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! WHAT A WAY TO TREAT SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS. THANKS TO HER I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO TO COLERAIN ANIMAL CLINIC. AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS AND OTHER HORROR STORIES I CAN'T BELIEVE I EVER TOOK MY BELOVED PETS TO THEM.

Never ever again.....I love my cat too much.. If there could be a negative star I would choose it. To begin, I will, like most, give Dr Ashley credit. He is a good veterinarian. There are a few others that actually care, but to the rest it seems to be only a paycheck. you're in and out. They take your money and you're left wondering what exactly you paid for. I just can't sit by and let this go unheard. I took my cat in because he was acting funny. he's had three uti's before. He was still peeing (not as much) but acting funny like how he's acted before and got upset when i touched his lower belly. I took him in and the doctor quickly checked his stomach and said, yes, he's hard as a rock and needs a catheter put in place. He will stay five days. I at this point am beyond upset. he comes back with the bill and i am in tears...I sign off on a $440 estimate, because, he is my baby and there is no other option. I get a call the next day that the blood and urinalysis came back good, only slight deviations and will be taking the catheter out a day early.. ok. I am happy. I come in the next day and the vet tech says, "Oh he's the biter" and that no crystals were found but there may have been a slight blockage or mucus plug that came out when flushed. That's pretty mild compared to when i was told he was hard as a rock. right? He's not eating and is laying covered in pee. I call in and advise them as long as he's peeing can we get the catheter out and possibly take him home tomorrow.

Day two. $350 dollars later, I call in at noon. they took the catheter out and advise if i do take him home i will need to monitor him and at this point that is all they're doing. So, better he be at home than in a cage covered in pee stressed out not eating. I come in and again he's "the mean cat". I get him and take him home. There are some girls behind the desk that are super nice. but the one i had looked like she was miserable doing her job and I had to ask for a list of all the things i was billed for.

not even a half hour after getting my cat home, i notice his top front fang is broken off. I am livid. well, that explains why on the last day the vet techs didn't have to "use a towel" to get him out. because his tooth was broken off. I call in pretty upset. On top of a 350 dollar bill i now have my cat in further pain and trauma and needs to now possibly have the tooth removed. I ask will i have to pay to have something looked at that happened there? the vet tech says, "well, it's not my paycheck, you will need to speak with the doctor on monday" so i call in on monday and the doctor says I can bring him in and he will look at him for free. That he still wants to do more blood work on him. Ya know, I have given it some thought, and i will never have my cat back in those doors again. I am getting my records transferred to another vet and I will have them examine him. I will not pay them another dime to traumatize my cat and leave him coming home with more damage than he went in. I just can't believe that something like this could happen. I wasn't told how it happened, but i have a few ideas. It wasn't documented at all. How does a cat's tooth just break off without anyone noticing??? I asked them to look in his cage he was in and nothing was found. You go into working with animals because you love animals. When did this passion get lost?? If you love your pet, you will take them somewhere else. I can't undo what has happened, but i sure as heck won't ever make him go to that place again.

Worst place ever. I am so infuriated with Noahs Ark Animal Hospital. We got an estimate for Loki the day we dropped him off there with the urinary blockage, of 359.00 to 440.00. We go to pick him up today and only took enough money to cover the estimate and they wanted 533.00. Nearly one hundred dollars more. In fact they wouldn' t release him with out full payment. On top of it all if we couldn't come up with the money, they were gonna continue to keep him and charge us more.

What is the since in signing an estimate if it means nothing? We only agreed to pay up to 440.00. No one even bothered to tell us it was gonna cost more and we've been in contact with them all week, checking up on Loki. This is crap and they are not done hearing from me about this kind of misrepresentation and deceit.

We receive no written after care instructions follow our animals urinary blockage. He also had an eye infection and we really don't no how often to put in the drops

no itemized reason for the increase in cost

not told of the 25% increase from the initial estimate

Vague terms of the contract

quote from their site," At the end of the day we want to provide our clients with the best in veterinary care, reasonable health care options and at a fee you can afford."

Goes on to talk about trust.

Disputes between pet owners and veterinarians are likely to arise for the same reason most other disputes arise: a failure of communication. Owners misunderstand diagnoses, instructions, and fees, and busy vets are often guilty of not explaining things as well as they should.

Insensitve + Inattentive + Unorganized = Horrible Experience. I went to Colerain (Noah's Ark) Animal Clinic b/c MedVet (where my regular vet reffered me) couldn't perform a necessary ultrasound for my cat that night. (after leaving the clinic, I called my regular vet who said "I wish you wouldn't have gone there, any place is probably better than Colerain").

None of the support staff had any clue what was going on with my cat during her overnight stay. I received conflicting information from everyone I spoke to (from "she's doing fine", to "think about euthenasia", to "see an oncologist"). It was a very painful experience, especially when everyone I spoke to was horribly inconsiderate (saying "your cat is hard for us to treat because she's so mean" and "do you hear your cat back there screaming?")

If you love your pet, please save yourself some pain and go anywhere but here!!
