The Scene – The restaurant's pseudo-industrial interior is dressed with copper and black metal motifs, exposed pipes and Japanese accents. Dried flowers and exposed brick walls keep the atmosphere friendly. Starters include the baked goat cheese in pecan crust with field greens and tomato-basil relish. The smoked salmon pizza has a thin crust topped with Norwegian salmon, three cheeses and capers. Or try the creamy bow tie pasta flavored with aromatic garlic and tossed with wood-grilled chicken and fresh herbs.

Great. Great. Great. Good food and good service.

The food was excellent. The service was perfect. I was so pleasantly surprised with the soup. The vegetable soup was so good and the pizza is even better. I love to go there and I go there when ever i am in the area.
- Pros: Best food. Great company.
Just not worth it!

I will start with the positive. Good service, seated quickly and received the meal in a timely fashion. However, the rolls were not hot and hard as a rock. The glaze gave the steak more of a burnt taste then flavor. Then the topper was the bakery fresh cookies I odered to go. They were not bakery fresh. They smelled and tasted like they were burnt in a microwave. I could have had a better meal at Applebee's at a third of the price.
- Pros: Quick service
- Cons: Cramped seating and bland food
Rude treatment, disappointing food... a BAD time in the GOOD room
by Mairlah at Citysearch
I have never been so rudely treated in a restaurant. We were seated and ordered food which arrived on oversized serving platters. This created a shortage of space on the table top (I ended up holding a basket of rolls!). When we asked for more space, we were asked if we had a reservation! All this AFTER we had ordered and were served. Staff showed no concern for the problem until we threatened to leave them AND their food ( which was very disappointing). We were moved to "the good room" ( it made us wonder where we were seated before.... "the BAD room" ? I insisted THEY move the food, which they did. Food, of course was cold. After "dinner" the manager returned to argue with us some more! Dinner was comped, but our evening was ruined. I will NEVER go back.
Great romantic dinner
by lmbucalo at Citysearch
A recommendation of this place is easy....romantic atmosphere, prompt greeting and seating (with a smile), attentive staff, and the food is succulent...a great place to get away for a couple of hours and forget about the world outside.
Short story: A wedding anniversay couple was staying in the Embassy Suites in Blue Ash. After celebrating one dinner at Cascades Restaurant in the hotel, they were looking for another place to explore. I suggested Trio's. I called Trio's staff to let them know about this special couple...they helped me make an evening so romantic that the couple were completely taken aback! Thank you Trio's!!!
- Pros: Atmosphere, parking, staff/service
- Cons: none
