This place is fantastic if you want a beautiful scenic view overlooking the Ohio River and Northern Kentucky. Very casual atmosphere. Nice place to watch a sunset while having a casual drink or dinning. They just added a new bar in the front… It kind of has a resort bar feel to it, but the parking lot takes away from the image… HOWEVER TRUTH BE TOLD… outside of the “flair” to the atmosphere, the food and drinks are WAY OVERPRICED. A 12oz domestic beer is $3.50 and a shot and mixed drink(s) can run from $4.50 to $7.50. But they serve the mixed drinks in a small 8oz plastic cup so you’re not getting your moneys worth for the price. The food is not fresh. You can clearly tell that it comes pre-packaged and or frozen. They simply open it, heat it and serve it to the unsuspecting customer who’s about to pay twice as much more than it’s worth. Also, the waitresses tend to take forever getting back to your table to check on you for refills or to see if you need anything. They’re a bit unaccommodating at times. Outside of the overpriced menu and the un-anticipating waitresses The Cabana is a nice place to hang out with family and friends. I personally recommend that you try to get seating along the Riverview. I only go when the check is being split. I’d go more often if they lower their unrealistic price.

Great food, friendly people and fun atmosphere!

If you are not seeking upscale dining, this is the place to be. My mother and I were looking for a place to eat before heading back to Indy, and decided to stop and take a look at the first restaurant in sight. After walking in, we new instantly that this would be a fun place to eat. Great food, nice people and a fun place to watch the boats go by and the beautiful sunset.
- Pros: On the Ohio River and "crispy"french fries were excellent!
