Homey Atmosphere, Delicious Food, Great Experience. I make my way to Sugar N' Spice probably twice a week to enjoy the homey atmosphere, delicious food, and a great overall experience. The restaurant is filled with the type of people who want to whip up a conversation with anyone else who is there. Everyone at Sugar N' Spice has something in common, they all have found the city's best breakfast spot. If you enjoy striking up conversations with random people or just taking in an experience, then sit at the counter so you can see the whole restaurant.

The food is always good an cooked to perfection. Aside from the famous Wispy Thin Pancakes and Huge Omelets the menu is full of other great items. Of course they serve the Cincinnati favorites, and my personal favorite, goetta and it is always crispy, just as it should be. Stop by for lunch sometime and try the wings and mac n' cheese, absolutely delicious.

The staff is always friendly, prompt, and efficient. On my last visit I learned that the restaurant will be opened into the evening on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday starting April 1...Can't wait to stop by for dinner!

Best in the City. Ive been coming here for about 3 years now and I can honestly say it puts any other breakfast place to shame. The homely atmosphere and staff is unparalled, and not to mention the food is out of this world! From the wispy thin pancakes to the gigantic omlettes..it really doesnt get any better! This is the place to be for breakfast.

Best Breakfast and Lunch. Of course they have the best omeletes and pancakes in town, but they have a ton of other stuff on the menu. You could eat there every day of the week for a month and never order the same thing twice or be disappointed.

The new owner, Steve, is a hoot. And his new BBQ is great.

Skip the First Watches of the world. This is the place.

The food is good, but the homey atmosphere and the dirt-heap prices are the draw at this cozy spot.. The Scene
Behind the unassuming facade on Reading Road is an even more unassuming interior, with floral wallpaper that reminds you of grandma's house and an antique cash register ringing up the checks. Friendly servers circulate with pots of coffee, addressing the regulars by name and the newcomers by "hon."

The Food

Breakfast is served all day, and the place is packed with folks enjoying the "whispy thin" pancakes, omelets, or just a giant parfait glass full of fruit. A sense of humor is evident in the names of the lunch sandwiches, such as the "Hooked 'n' Cooked" (fish sandwich), "Red 'n' Yeller" (grilled cheese with tomato) and "Hit the Deck" (double-decker with salami and Swiss). Try the "Alotta Bull" with a half-pound of beef, or the "Windy Special" with--you guessed it--grilled onions.
