New nostalgiic night club. As men and women are returning to wearing dresses and slacks; dressing better; I want to know if you would like an older-fashioned night club. One that is clean, fairly lighted and well decorated. One with a live band that could play various tunes. One that could feature ballroom dancing and teach it prior to the evening opening. One that would have floor shows. One that would have fine dining. A night club of the past. Please send me all comments.

Annie's - a great place to be hurt. Obviously, we've all heard of the recent shooting on "Rap" sunday night. This is what Annie's has become? A rap club? My big sister used to drive me & my friends to small concerts there. It was great! Now, the place has become a dangerous dive, so desperate to stay open, they will sell their souls for anything. What ever happened to "Prizoner" and "Buster Brown" and "CJSS"? Never On Sundays is gone, Top Cats is closed, The Viper Room charges $5 a beer. Sigh. Guess I'll just go to Metropolis every Friday night, with all the other girls in accounting... At least there, the only violence is the occasional 2 drunken jerks punching each other in the parking lot to impress me. What ever happened to rock and roll?

Annie's Where The Bouncers Assault Patrons. I went to Annie's for Scribble Jam 2008, and on Friday Oct 24th I was assaulted by the bouncers.

I saw a girl standing on a chair to see over a crowd for hours, i stood up on it and the bouncer yelled at me to get down. I got down and the bouncer got in my face and threw me to the ground. 3 other bouncers stomped on my face, arms, neck, wrist and luckily the b l o o d didn't stain my t-shirt i bought there.

I was stone sober, and wasn't cussing or being rowdy, only yelling "help me" to the other people.

In front of 1200 people, I was attacked, physically beaten, and thrown out for what?

I give Annie's 2 thumbs down for having the worst service I've ever had. It took a girl, jumping into it, to shield me with her body for them to stop.

This was, ironically during KRS One's Stop The Violence tour, but after i talked to the Cincinnati PD, they confirmed Annie's is a bad place to be. How can i disagree?

A gem of a club that somehow survives in spite of its crippling location. The Music
Annie's is famous for metal concerts and disco fever. Since the early '80s, the club has brought countless hard rock and glam-metal bands to its stage, including Metallica, Pantera, and Dokken. More recently, the club has evolved, booking shows with local and well-known indie bands of all types. The bar's outside area has picnic benches, swings, and a grill. For added color, Annie's walls display scribble art and publicity photos of metal bands.

Annies.. I have gone to Annies since I was 22. I met my 'big hair' husband of 8 years there and we still like to go to the metal concerts. Annies and the owners and staff will always have a special place in my heart. Annies always has and always will rock hard.

Growing up with Annies. I've been going to Annies for ten years. It has managed to keep progressing with the ever changing music scene, but still entice those of us from the former bighair band days. Every time I go I feel comfortable and at home.....(even though I'm thirty going on twenty!}
