Best jukebox in the city for 15 straight years.
the Comet is one of the best bars in Cincinnati hands down. They serve a San Francisco style burrito that is the size of a small child along with a selection of other Tex-Mex foods.
There is always a half dozen craft beers on tap with a selection of 150 bottle beer to chose from. The atmosphere is friendly with all kinds of people in the place. They have live music most nights with great Bluegrass Music on Sunday evenings. Check their calendar on line at cometbar.
When there is n live music there is the best jukebox in the city and that is not just my opinion. City Beat readers vote it best every year.…
This place is super over rated..
Everyone is all over this bar but it's really over rated. Their burritos are made with fresh veggies but with shredded chicken. I don't think they even have a grill. They are decent but only if
you're drunk. I'm not a fan of bluegrass so the music doesn't do much for me and the smell of body odor is a little too much to bear.
Yes they have a great beer selection but it doesn't help when you can't get served. It's not that their service is bad it's NON-EXISTENT!…
Bluegrass & Burritos!. When the Comet Burrito was invented, I don't think anyone said "let's create the most authentic burrito in town." Instead, I'm pretty sure the plan was to create the most delicious thing that you can wrap in foil, and then give you chips with it. As a rule: ALWAYS ORDER THE SALSA OF THE MONTH.…
Best burritos and beer selection!. The atmosphere is quaint, but the beer selection is extensive and the burritos are fantastic. A great place to watch live music!
Northside's best bohemian bar features an equally unconventional jukebox..
In Short
One of Cincy's hippest hangs, this bar is a regular hideout for local artists and musicians. It features a natural, arty vibe and occasionally hosts local music shows, from garage
rock to their beloved bluegrass Sunday nights. Not enough? There are also massive burritos and other inexpensive food offerings. Shoot pool, down rare-label alcoholic libations, and keep the jukebox gears spinning with great jazz and early rock and roll.…
