Poor service and attitude, still the same old approach. Could not get food for 30 min and the only customer in the place, but others came in later and got their order, but topper was when the owner sits and the bar and eats a lunch special that I ordered 20 min earlier and was still waiting for. They don't care about service or quality, very evident. Not what the neighborhood needs. DON'T BOTHER EVEN TRYING THIS OVER PRICED, NO SERVICE PLACE.

Moldy Food, Bad Customer Experience.
I've been a customer at Boswell for a few years - usually go there 1x week.
Usually excellent food & service.
Had dessert at dinner last night, and it was molded from the inside out. Black mold. I was disgusted, expecially because I ate some of that mold before I realized what was going on. The server apologized, took it away, but didn't offer to comp the bill or replace the dessert.
When he brought the final bill, I was charged for my 2 drinks, appetizer, but no dessert. Told him that didn't seem fair, and that comping the bill was the fair thing to do given my experience.
He called over the manager/owner. The owner was rude, indifferent and told me that they took they dessert off the bill and that was all I was getting. The dessert was 1/2 eaten and moldy....so that wasn't exactly a favor.
I would add that I was respectful, polite, albeit grossed out. I didn't receive the same attitude in return.
Customer loyalty seems to have gone by the wayside these days. I told the server I understood it wasn't his decision, but that I was suprised as a "regular" (and a great tipper!) that I would be treated this way.
I paid the bill, left without tipping (have never in my life done that) and told my dinner date we were never coming back.
If they can't serve fresh dessert....think about how they are handling meat, fish, etc there. GROSS.

The Hidden Jewel of Northside. You have to love their food. Great service. Can not wait to go back!! They also have bands also. Call for more info.
