Fantastic Record Store.... This is an AWESOME record shop!!! It has one of the most diverse and expansive inventories in the tri-state area. Everything is cataloged and in alpha-numeric order which makes it easy to find what your looking for and removes the "rumage sale" aspect of record collecting. The only complaint that I have is that they apply the price label DIRECTLY TO THE ALBUM COVER!!! As a collector of vintage vinyl nothing is more irritating than geting home and ruining a "home-run" of a find by peeling back the price label and taking a bit of the cover with it. ARGH!!! They do make price lables without the aggressive adhesive as I have found even lesser record stores use. (Oh, and for the record heat guns, and hair driers don't help because glue residue stays behind.) Overall, FANTASTIC!!! I have been to hundreds of used record stores over the last 20+ years and this one ranks in the ten and would have gotten a 5 star from this user if not for the price lable issue; fix that and they're in the top three.

Best music store in Cincinnati!!!!. This is the store in CIncinnati for Music lovers!!! Knowledgeable help and the broadest range of music that could fit within their walls. It is a fun place to visit and browse! Be aware that it is nearly impossible to visit without buying something! It is the sort of place you want to tell all of your friends about.

Music Store for Music Lovers. Shake It! Records has the most intelligent selection of music in Cincinnati. Their listening stations always have interesting and fun albums to sample, and their used CD collection is unbelievable. If you're addicted to vinyl, you'll find their downstairs section to have more than enough records to feed the beast. They have a great selection of new vinyl as well as the classic older stuff, including a really good jazz section. I go to Shake It! whenever I need to find something, or am just looking for something new.

The Ultimate Music Store. I rarely walk into a record store in this city and am able to find some of the most interesting and obscure items that I have found at The Best Little Record Store In Cincinnati, Shake It Records! The owners and employees are the most knowlegeable in the city and have a fan in an old workhorse like me who knows about music.
