I USED TO ORDER PIZZA FROM ADRIATICO'S 2-3 TIMES A WEEK. (Keep in mind I was very polite throughout this process.) But one night (12/14/2012) I never received my pizza. I called but they were closed (by a few minutes) and no one picked up. When I called the next day a shift manager told me they would not replace the pizza or refund me on my credit card. I never even signed the receipt on the credit card and I was still charged, this is actually considered somewhat illegal. After I got back from my trip for the holidays I called the OWNER on 1/2/2013. He also refused to provide me with any solution. You would think from the sheer amount of business I give this place that, at the very least, the owner would be reasonable. When I asked the owner for his name so that I could bring him to small claims court (purely out of principle) he refused to supply me with this! That is simply immature. I wrote a polite yet negative feedback post on Adriatico's Facebook wall. He deleted this as well! I feeling like I am dealing with my five year old cousin! I found his name on the internet, Tom Erbeck, and I am currently in the process of bringing him to small claims court.
Don't Deliver to Black Neighborhoods???.
I volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club in Avondale and the first time I ordered Adriatico's for my kids they delivered...no problem.
I call today for a delivery and suddenly it's outside their delivery area.... Riiiight. They need to tighten up their company policy and be consistent. All this confusion makes for terrible customer service.
No matter how good the pizza is it's not the only pizzaria in town...
SAVED ME ON DELIVERY. I work for a medical facility and needed to have a Pizza delivery for staff who could not leave work. They delivered on a Level 3 Snow Emergency day when no one else would.
Amazing Pizza and Great Service. Primarily, I am highly impressed with the friendly nature of the drivers! One tall one in particular came to deliver a pizza and he was friendly, kind and very sweet. And every time I have Adriaticos, I am very pleased with the full of flavor taste their pizza has to offer. Overall, a wonderful experience! If you have never tried Adriatico and are looking for pizza tonight, give them a call!!
Decent Pizza. Adriatico's is decent, but I wouldn't exactly call it New York style. I wouldn't drive 20 minutes to go there again since my favorite pizzeria is just as close.
best pizza in clifton. This place is AWESOME!!! You get so much for your money and the food is always hot and fresh and delicious!
Best pizza in Cincinnati. Adriatico's has the best thick-crust (Bearcat) and thin-crust pizza in Cincinnati, as well as excellent delivery & carry-out service, even during the blizzard of '08! Some don't care for the sweet-ish sauce or buttery crust, but I find Adriatico's nearly perfect, and I'm damned picky about my pizza! Bearcat Special is an excellent deal for hungry college students.
Historic Pizza. I first ate at Adriaticos back around 1983, when I was a starving student at UC. I think they were over on Jefferson in those days. I have long since moved to the burbs, but whenever I am in Clifton I make a point of picking up a pizza to take home and show the kids what a pizza should taste like. I think the crust has changes a little over the years, but it is still garlicy and excellent. The sauce is spicy and rich. The place is downright grungy inside, but so is the rest of Clifton, so I can excuse that since they produce the best pizza I have ever had.
Pizza that's Addicitive. If you like food with flavor, then Adriatico's is your place for pizza. The thin crust is good as is their regular crust, both are tasty and garlicky. The sauce is fantastic, full of spice, zing and kick. The cheese is real and the toppings are amazing. If you like meat, the pepperoni slices are huge and the sausage isn't run of the mill, it's full of spices, tasty and comes in huge chunks. Truly excellent, flavorful pizza.
Best pizza in Cincy?. I'm quite loyal to LaRosa's... but Adriatico's is amazing. Just like all the others have said, I was totally surprised when I tasted the sauce. The Bearcat pizza is something to behold. If I told you how big it was you honestly wouldn't believe me. It's a favorite in the dorms at UC.
