A good place to have a beer or a basket of french fries after class.. In Short
Located right next to the UC campus, Uncle Woody's is a regular hangout for students blowing off steam before, after and in-between classes. A patio overlooks the university's campus and in the rear is a padded lounge area with a fireplace and big screen TV--patrons call this area, "The Pit." Uncle Woody's has a good selection of brew on draft and in the bottle, as well as some mixed drinks.

They have nati on tap? How good can it be?. This is a CHEAP place to get drunk. If not for kegs and eggs they would be useless.... I swear unless you have lots of financial problems you can find a better place to drink.

The bartenders have a vacant stare and never remember you, the single dart board is always being played by employees. The outside is always dirty and there is nothing to do out there short of yelling at homeless people who pan handle out front of the place.

For a few bucks more you can go next door to Papa Dino's which is admittedly not much of a bar but its better than Woody's. If you can spend a bit more cash then trek down the street to Murphy's or even across campus to Grail or Martinos. You know the bar is bad when the only place on campus less visited is Christy's.
