GREAT CLUB. Why'd they close? This place was terrific!!! MUST everything fun in this city move around in geographic "waves"? Oh, can't go to Clifton no more, let's move everything to creepy dingy Northside...

Hosting great live music, ranging in genre from swing and rap, to pop and underground rock.. In Short
Top Cat's is one of few vital neighborhood bars to remain on the Short Vine. Although many of its customers are University of Cincinnati students, young working-class types are also regulars. Patrons can stay wet at the full bar and enjoy the entertainment inside--or head out back to the outdoor patio. In the summer, the bar hosts outdoor barbecues to a roster of local rock-and-roll acts, increasing in volume as day drags into night.
