BEST Shopping trips ever!!. Ok so i go there all the time for my costume needs!! i find everything i need and more!! they have great service, the last time i was there one of the employees followed me and my friends around to help us find everything we need!! the prices are great and its always so much fun shopping there!! the only issue with this store is that you better have loads of time on your hand because you wont want to leave.

Best of the Best. I LOVE this store! The first time I walked in there about 3 to 4 years ago I put one foot in the door and fell in love! I love love love the smell and sight of vintage.

I have recently re-located to Los Angeles, CA to attend school and pursue a career in Costume Design/Wardrobing, and I work for a vintage online store and wholesaler part time. I have tried desperately to find an equivalent store out here and just can't. Nobody matches the price, service, or care Talk of the Town possesses. When I come back to visit family I make a special trip down to Cincinnati from North of Dayton to enjoy this treasure of a store.

It's location may scare some who are not familiar with the area if you are traveling down the I-75 and listen to those who tell you about cincinnati, but do not be fooled! Reading is a part of town that I feel completely safe in. Up and coming trendy neighborhood + fantastic vintage shop=GOLD!

Nancy and her staff are the best people you could ever find to own/run this store. They are caring and very loving of their merchandise and seem to have a very keen understanding of the precious gems they have in their store. They are also very knowledgeable of historical garments and are able to identify the era from which they came.

If you are ever within a 50 mile radius of this store STOP IN! If you are a true lover of vintage you will not want to pass up the opportunity and can thank me later!

If you need ventage clothing they will have it. This place is the best. My wife and I waited kind of late to get our clothing for our friends 70s theme birthday party but it didn't matter because the stillhad plenty of things from us to choose from. The owner and the staff were really nice even more helpfull to us and they made sure that we were decked out and ready for the soul train line. Please everybody you havve to check this place out.

AMAZING place to shop. I am from California... visiting relatives from Ohio for the holidays and have never been to such an amazing vintage store. It's snowing outside and I asked for swimsuits... the owner went to the basement and got several bins for me to look through in addition to pulling a few that weren't marked yet that she knew I would love (and she was right!). I asked her opinion when I wasn't sure about something I was trying on- and she gave me honest answers (not trying to sell me on things that weren't right for me). When I was done in the fitting room, I asked if there was anything else in the store in my size that I hadn't seen... she pulled out THE MOST GORGEOUS dress that fit me perfectly (I never find things that fit me perfectly). I had such an awesome day shopping there (and probably could have stayed a couple hours longer if I had the time). I am a vintage junkie and haven't been to a better store in all my shopping days. I will definitely go back next time I am in town.

AWESOME VINTAGE CLOTHES. It was my first time shopping there and I fell in love. However, I live in Pittsburgh so sadly I can't go there anytime I want. I found 3 beautiful 80's dresses, and I even wore one to my cousins wedding and got a dozen compliments on. The workers were even better. The owner was so nice and was willing to help in any way she could. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you want a unique vintage store...this is your place!

Amazing Coostumes and Vintage Clothes. There isn't a dull clothing-rack in this thrift store. All the clothing has tags dating the decade so if you going for a specific period this is the place to be. The costume selection is huge and amazing - much much better than a standard costume shop - it has really unique clothing from being everything from the cookie monster to captain hook. And if you don't want to buy you can always rent. Staff is exceptional nice!

The Best for Costume Rental and Customer Service. Talk of the Town is the best place to go for costume rental, accessories, and a memorable experience. Whether you are heading to a themed party or dressing your child for a school presentation/performance, this is hands down the best place to go. The selection here is amazing and, seemingly limitless, and the staff makes it their mission to help you find EXACTLY what you're looking for no matter how long it takes or how deep they have to dig! They make the experience fun and I will forever be a customer.

Fabulous Vintage Clothing!. We've been vintage shopping with Talk of the Town for 16 years. That should say a lot right there. And after our last visit, we hadve to say the owner and shop are just a fabulous as ever. Good store layout, easy to shop with Scads of selection, great dresses, menswear and even hats. We loaded up with ladies suits! And the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and professional.

What more can I say except stop wasting shopping time and GO.

Totally Awesome!!! Great Service!!!. I can't really even put into words how great this place is, but I'll do my best. I was having a 1940's themed birthday party and I wanted to find a truely authentic outfit. I had always heard of Talk of the Town but had never checked it out until I needed the party outfit. Nancy and everyone at the shop was great!! They not only helped me find out exactly what I was looking for but they put together the PERFECT authentic outfit, right down to the shoes and earrings!! They even stayed after hours to make sure that me, my mom and sister had exactly what we were looking for!! I would strongly recommend this store to anyone!! I am so happy I discovered this neighborhood treasure and will surely be visiting there again soon!!
