Best Spot for Onpening Day Parade. I love this place! Make sure to stop by this dive. Good food, cheap drinks, what more could a person want. I found Dunlap Cafe at the Opening Day Parade and have stopped in for a cold drink and a good cheap meal ever since. It's a little intimidating on the outside (neighborhood) but very nice and clean inside. It's well worth it. I love the Taco Salad it's usally a special on Fridays.

Dirt cheap and free entertainment. The Dunlap is a hidden jewel. Located in Over-the-Rhine's Brewery District and just northwest of Findlay Market, it has one of the friendliest and most diverse group of customers of any bar in the city. It looks frightening from the outside, but don't be scared. All are welcome. The walls are lined with an amazing beer can collection, but the "ambiance" is generated more by the people. The Cincinnati Police Department's tollerence for transexual "working girls" in this part of town adds to the eclectic and accepting mix of people who come through the door for breakfast, lunch, and happy hour. The food is greasy, excellent, and cheap. A Charlie Burger (double decker with cheese) and a Wiedemann will run you roughly $4.00. This is not some faux college dive bar. The Dunlap is the real thing. Its only drawback is that closing time is anywhere from 6:00 p.m. to a few hours later, depending on the crowd. Don't bother trying to order anything healthy. Don't be afraid to buy a round because it will typically cost under $20 to buy everyody in the bar a drink. And don't be shy.
