Editorial Review for Cincinnati Music Hall – by Lilia Brady

The Background
Since opening in 1878, it has hosted events like the 1880 Democratic Convention and the memorial service of U.S. Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase. William Jennings Bryant spoke here; Thomas Edison received a medal. These days, Music Hall's stately parapets and gables are home to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Pops, the Opera and the May Festival. Each group has fans who make the pilgrimage to Over-the-Rhine.
