Reborn under new ownership

Kaldi's has reopened, and the vibe is pertty much the same, but the service and consistency are both dramatically improved. The coffee is still top-notch, and they have added beers on tap, including several of the local (and excellent) Barrelhouse beers. If you haven't been down in a while, you should try it out again.

A True Joy!

Kaldi's is one of the last great coffee shops where they serve great food and the ambience is amazing. They have poetry readings, live performances, and walls lined with books for you to read while there. It is very small and cozy. A great place for a first date, romantic outing, or just to relax and listen to local music or read.
