Primary healthcare at it's best. Great staff, easy appointments, short doctor waits, excellent referrals to specialists, close to labs, modern equipment. Also excellent central location and convient parking. Only current negative concerns four staff doctors departing in May to join the MDVIP network based out of Flordia. Could be a good move for them, however leaving several thousand present patients, who cannot afford the membership fee or will not be accepted by the MDVIP network due to a smaller patient base, without primary health care. The scrambling to find primary healthcare doctors for dropped patients from this group and another Cincinnati group doing the same thing with MDVIP, we may be talking about 5000, will be horrendous. At this point no announcement or patient contact from the remaining Hyde Park Internists group explaining or re-assureing effectived patients has been forthcoming. The next few months will answer the question, can Hyde Park Internists maintain the superior rateing they have earned to this point serving Hyde Park and surrounding areas with the best primary healthcare in the tri-state area.
