Horrible service. I took my nephew there to get his hair cut. We tried to call in advance but no one picked up. We ended up going hoping to get in and there was a note on the door saying they were all on lunch break. About 20 minutes later one women pulls up. When we asked if she was able to fit us in she rudely stated without even looking at me that she has no time for us or walk ins and told us we should have called ahead. What horrible customer service. I will tell everyone I know with kids to stay away. Went to sports clips and they did a great job with no wait or rude women
So, I ended up canceling my sons appointment because they took more than three hours to get back to me and still counting. I don't have the time. A business in the service industry needs to be organized and professional and that means getting back to a potential client or client with in the hour at the most. When I called to make the appointment they also took a long time to get back to me. I give a D- on customer service. Maybe they don't need new clients but they need to be aware that one bad experience becomes 5-6 experiences. I have 5 friends that just had babies with in the year and I won't recommend this place. I ended up making him an appointment at Mariemont Barber. We'll see how that goes. They were really nice on the phone.
Wonderful Salon!. We have gone to Kids Kuts and had the same stylist for over 17 years. Our son has autism and we found out about this salon through the Autism Society. When he was young the stylist would actually follow him around to get his hair cut. Now he is 21 and we still go there! (and we don't live that close) There is a TV with movies, toys and books. They have always been very patient and kind to us and do a great job on the cut - we love it there! Although they are busy, they have always returned phone calls, but I find it easier to make an appointment before you leave for next time. They will call with a reminder a couple of days before your appointment. Not sure if I'm allowed to name names on this review, but ask for Sarah and tell her Richie sent you!!
Best Kids Salon In Town. I love all the girls at Kids Kuts salon. Everyone there is so nice and love kids. Best place in town to get you kids hair cut. Love you Kids Kuts girls keep doing what you do best!!
Quick, Professional, Great Cut. I have gotten my son's hair cut at this location more than once. I felt the need to write a review after seeing the horrible review attached. My son is two and at the stage that he screams and fights the hair dresser. The ladies there, and I have been to each of them, are always understanding and quickly and gently work with my son to make the entire situation as stress free as possible. They are sweet ladies and definitely worth the slightly higher cost.
Unprofessional, Crass, Argued Loudly, Horrible Cut!. I was very succint, and walked the girl through exactly what I wanted done to my son's hair, so I sat down and leafed through a magazine. My son is not a tender head, but he kept saying ouch and that it was hurting, the girl said the clippers tend to snag b/c they get a lot of hair in them and are older :/ ... a few minutes into the hair cut, (a foe hawk- a moehawk that is faded into a point), I went to go check on the progress and noticed she cut his hair into a vanilla ice type fade and the 'fade' was suuuper choppy and not very faded. I told her that that is NOT what I had just explained to her that I wanted, she tried to convince me that I never explained anything to her and rolled her eyes. This girl started arguing and getting loud with me infront of a lot of children. Some other hair lady came over and asked what was going on and if everything was ok b/c the hair girl was yelling at me. I was attempting to explain to her what I had instructed the haircut to be like and the girl kept inturrupting me belligerently, the place was packet with parents and children, and is not very large at all. The girl was telling the other hair lady that I was lying about what I had wanted and the I never said what I was claiming. I was not about to loose my cool or contribute to the sceen that was already being made by the crass girl, so I took my son and left. It is a shame that such unprofessionalism and attitude exsist infront of children when the entire premise of the buisness is to cater to them, not scare them or make it uncomfortable and awkward. NEVER going there again! I had to go somewhere else to get my son's hair fixed which left no room for the adorable and cool hair cut I originally wanted for him. It is a shame that my son had to endure such behavior, let alone the pain from the snagging clippers. The girl needs to be fired. I dont know what her name is, but she had caked on make up and was blonde, she was also dressed like she was ready for a day at a bbq (which should have been my first indication of her skills or what to expect from her). The place was dirty, sloppy, and too small to be so messy. REALLY SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!
Too busy for new clients?. Pretty disappointing. When I called to get information (no website) whoever answered the phone sounded too busy to answer my questions. When I took my son in the next day they were pretty busy so I waited for someone to assist me. That never happened. The two stylists did not acknowledge our presence, yet when another woman walked in with her child (obviously a regular because the stylist called him by name) the stylist stopped what she was doing and told her she could fit them in after her next cut. Only as I was leaving did anyone have the courtesy to even acknowledge me. They may be a good salon for children but I personally will never know. Any good businessman / woman knows that new clients are just as important as old ones. A simple smile and "I'll be with you in a moment" would have sufficed.
great cut. the staff was highly professional, took extreme care with a special needs child. the hair cut was the best my little girl has had, anywhere.
