The best Hoagies. Mio's has the best hoagies around, as far as my family is concerned. We have been going there for years.

We even love their litte ancient trivia cards.

At this local pizza chain, it's all in the crust.. In Short
Visitors to Mio's various humble locations can choose between a traditional crust pizza and a stuffed variety. While the stuffed pizza is good, the traditional crust is excellent, thick enough to taste like good bread but not too heavy. Antipasto salad, tuna salad and house salad are good for starters or as a light meal. Hoagies ranging from the traditional steak hoagie to a tuna hoagie are offered as are calzones.

Wow, what happened. When I was young, and they had one location over in the Hyde Park area. All of the police officers that worked in the area went there all the time, my father introduced me. They used to have a sweet garlic crust and the best toppings in the world, in a small one place with few tables, very comfortable. Now, in the last few years, they have done unimaginable things to their food. Does expanding mean you have to change your product? A lot of people that have become very disappointed in the "New Mio's" way of making pizza in the last 10 years. Drop that crusty stuff you put on your pizza's now, and go back to the original, or at least offer it as a type of pizza you can still get. They have added all upscale type yuppie toppings, and that yuck on the crust.

the BEST in Cincy. Mios has great calzones and pizzas. We eat there at least once every week. They also have a lunch club and offer a free lunch after 5 purchases.

Best Steak Hoagies in town. With apologies to Richard's in Hamilton, which is thisclose to Mio's, Mio's has the best steak hoagies in town. If Mio's used Richard's beef patty I would be eating steak hoagies every day (and I would be dead within 5 years).

Pizza is pretty good. The sauce is a little bland. The sesame seeds are different, at least around here. Otherwise it is pretty good.

Mio's is unique. Consistent quality and a mainstay of Cincinnati for many years, the food has remained high in quality and very tasty.

Don't be a sheep and try Mio's great food.
