Is it Really Worth it?. I got an appointment with a salon director there, in hopes of getting a quality haircut, even though It is kind of pricey treat...

She had a great personality ans everyone is nice, but 2 days later, when I washed my hair I began to notice that my layers are all uneven and my bangs are just plain assymetrical and the whole cut is very poorly executed.

I honestly NEVER had that happen to me before, even when I use to go to "Great Clips" years ago...

I was hoping to get an Expensive and Good cut from a proffesional with 11 years of experience but I guess expensive doesn't mean great in this case.

I have to take my business elsewhere, very upset!!!

Don't waste your money. Way too expensive. Double the price of everyone else! Call center is a joke. Triple check your appointment because you probably don't even have one!

Ruined mother's day. Thanks Mitchells. I have been going to the Kenwood location for a few years, dropping a couple thousand every year. Then I discovered that the rookwood location is a lot closer to my home, so I have made an appointment with the salon to treat my best friend's mom for mother's day.

We made appointment 2 weeks prior to going in, and they told us if we want to cancel they would like a 24 hour notice. No problem. On the day of our appointment, we arranged our whole day around our 5:30 appointment, just to get a phone call at 4:30 telling us that the girl didn't feel well, so they are cancelling our appointment. No apologies, no attempt to try to find us another appointment, just that s**t happens. I was not happy, but rescheduled for two weeks later.

Two weeks later, again, we scheduled our whole day around this big spa day, work early, get off, speed home, go to spa, then dinner. Well, two hours prior to our appointment, they called and cancelled again. Once again, no empathy, no attempt to help. I told them I'd like to speak to someone in charge, they transfer me straight to someone's voicemail. I call back asking to speak to a real person, not a machine, the receptionist, Mariea, told me that the lady in charge is gone for the day (3:30PM), and that she will not be taking a message for me to have the lady call back, and that the conversation is over.

There are hundreds of spas around Cincinnati, you can be sure I will be taking my money somewhere else rather than getting cancelled over and over again an hour prior to my appointment and be told s**t happens

Well worth the money!. I've been going to Mitchell's for over 6 years for my hair, nails and massages. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad service.

The staff is always top notch. They are a little pricey but always worth it!

WAAAAAAYYY Overpriced!. Mitchells Salon has an excellent reputation for experienced Hair colorists and hair design experts. I am physically sickened and feel VIOLATED by my recent trip to the West Chester Salon. Although the stylist was accurate and did an excellent job, When I went to check out, the total for a partial highlight and a root touch-up with cut was $ $214 - NOT including gratuity! This is AMAZING to me! What kind of society allows businesses to charge these types of prices. I feel like I have been ROBBED!

Always overbooked. 2 of the last 3 hair appt times were messed up by the 'call center' schedulers. Then my hair appointments were always time pressured events; the stylist was overbooked;, they get promoted based on the amount of their product and hair styling sales. When they get promoted, they charge clients more money, so when you start out with a newer stylist, it gets more and more expensive to stay with him/her. I finally just got fed up and moved to a smaller salon that was less of a machine.

Love the place!. I always get the best service at Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa. From the kind and warm greeting that I receive from the receptionist, to the phenomenal service that I receive from my stylist, I always feel welcome at Mitchell's. I have been to alot of salons. The others just do not compare.

Friendly atmosphere & good service. I have been going to Mitchell's for manicures, pedicures, and massages for a number of years. Usually the service is wonderful--I like that the receptionist and staff remember me and my name. I have had the best luck with how long polish wears on my nails from Mitchell's manicures and pedicures. I like that they offer me something to drink and/or read every time I go in for a service. I like their call center for booking appointments--they always work with me to try to find something that fits my schedule and have my contact information saved in their system.

Great Customer Service, Manager on top of Things. I really enjoy my trips to Mitchell's. Services I have used, pericures,nail, facials, message, and just recently hair.I find I get the best treatments here and I'm always treated so well. One time I had a problem with people at the receptionous desk. I e-mail the manager at this store, and received a call back within minutes. She explained that they were having problems and was working on this. They must have gotten it solved, because last two trips have been great at check in desk.I truly believe that they care about customer service, and stride to be number one.

OK Facial. Went in for an acne management facail. I told this to the facialist and she said they customize all facials for the skin type. Anyways was charged 100 dollars instead of 70, I guess that is was customization meant. Plus they had me buy thir products, after convincing me I was doing everything wrong with my skin, and their product has made my skin worse.
