I've been to Arthur's a few times and have never been impressed. Salads are made with soggy lettuce and old tomatoes, sandwiches are nothing special. Meals are way overpriced even for Hyde Park and the food is "JUST OKAY" Craft beers are over priced and the only thing worth going for is a burger and Happy hour. Service is pretty decent but that doesn't make the food taste any better. Try Zolas or Terry's Turf to get your moneys worth!
Arthurs Best Burger. One of the best places in Cincinnati for a burger
Best Hamburgers, Great Prices. I went on a Monday night when they had 1/2 prices appetizers and some alcoholic drinks were on sale. I will definitely come back.
Great burgers and Cheap beer. Delicious burgers, beautiful wait staff, and cheap beer. Nothing more you could want. Come early on the weekends because it gets crowded early and people stay late. I have been there for 6 hrs and left wasted, full, and only 40 bucks poorer. Great place for big groups and talking to the smoking hot waitresses.
Service isnt great but the drink prices are perfect. My boyfriend & I went to Arthur's recently on a Friday night and spent around $25 for two shots, a martini and two beers.... WOW! I was sure they had mischarged us - it's refreshing to find a bar that's not serving drinks for $12 in Hyde Park. It's like Cheers in Cincinnati. (The mushroom appetizer has great texture and taste- the burgers are wonderful some days, and average on others).
A steady crowd of professional 30-somethings filter into this Hyde Park favorite for half-pound patties and deep-fried Provolone..
It's Hyde Park, you know what to expect--cell phones ringing from the pockets of a mid-30s-to-baby-boom crowd. The fried cheese is so good, it's hard to stray to other appetizers (potato skins, supreme nachos, buffalo wings, etc.). Burgers are the specialty, and the Boursin burger is among the best--a half-pound of meat topped with creamy herb and garlic Boursin cheese. The blackened blue and the Cajun-spiced Monterey Jack cheeseburgers also impresses.
Good ambiance, extremely friendly and helpful staff. I was visiting some friends out in Cincinnati, and I stumbled upon this restaurant based on it's rating. I can say that it was one of the best dining experiences that I've had in some time. The staff was EXTREMELY courteous and friendly. We never "waited" for anything. The food came promptly, and was delicious. I went for a burger and one of my friends had the Greek salad. They were both excellent, but that didn't stop me from coveting everything that came from the kitchen as it ALL looked good. It probably also helped that it was Summer and the outside deck area proved to be an extremely refreshing change of pace. I can't really explain it, but the deck has a "medieval" feel to it (perhaps it was the brick/gaslit lamps) that I came to appreciate. This was an all around good time.
Best burger in town!. Arthur's has the best burger that I know of! And make sure to try the Fried Flounder sandwich on Fridays! Fairly good selection on the menu, priced from cheap to expensive. And for dessert, if you have room, there's Graeter's just around the corner!
My favorite after work spot. Great food (fried cheese, chicken salad sandwich & great burgers), excellent service, nice selection of beer & great hyde park atomosphere. Great place to hang out with co-workers or friends.
User review by blckie. great burgers, great outdoor patio, very good service, good beer selection - best of all, the other patrons (if you can't chat up a bird here, yyou can't chat up a bird anywhere!)
