What People Are Saying About Arthur's

In Short – It's Hyde Park, you know what to expect--cell phones ringing from the pockets of a mid-30s-to-baby-boom crowd. The fried cheese is so good, it's hard to stray to other appetizers (potato skins, supreme nachos, buffalo wings, etc.). Burgers are the specialty, and the Boursin burger is among the best--a half-pound of meat topped with creamy herb and garlic Boursin cheese. The blackened blue and the Cajun-spiced Monterey Jack cheeseburgers also impresses.

The kitchen may close at 12am or 1am depending on the day, but you can still grab a drink until 2am.

Great burgers and Cheap beer

by cincyhopper at Citysearch

Delicious burgers, beautiful wait staff, and cheap beer. Nothing more you could want. Come early on the weekends because it gets crowded early and people stay late. I have been there for 6 hrs and left wasted, full, and only 40 bucks poorer. Great place for big groups and talking to the smoking hot waitresses.

  • Pros: Hot waitresses, cheap beer, patio in the summer, chill with the boyz
  • Cons: packed during the winter months

Service isnt great but the drink prices are perfect

by uchydeparker at Citysearch

My boyfriend & I went to Arthur's recently on a Friday night and spent around $25 for two shots, a martini and two beers.... WOW! I was sure they had mischarged us - it's refreshing to find a bar that's not serving drinks for $12 in Hyde Park. It's like Cheers in Cincinnati. (The mushroom appetizer has great texture and taste- the burgers are wonderful some days, and average on others).

  • Pros: CHEAP DRINKS, good music

Good ambiance, extremely friendly and helpful staff

by dahulk at Citysearch

I was visiting some friends out in Cincinnati, and I stumbled upon this restaurant based on it's rating. I can say that it was one of the best dining experiences that I've had in some time. The staff was EXTREMELY courteous and friendly. We never "waited" for anything. The food came promptly, and was delicious. I went for a burger and one of my friends had the Greek salad. They were both excellent, but that didn't stop me from coveting everything that came from the kitchen as it ALL looked good. It probably also helped that it was Summer and the outside deck area proved to be an extremely refreshing change of pace. I can't really explain it, but the deck has a "medieval" feel to it (perhaps it was the brick/gaslit lamps) that I came to appreciate. This was an all around good time.

  • Pros: Great food, great staff, Excellent patio area
