It's all relative...so "8".
It's all relative - the rating that is - to the specific location. Not being from Cinci, but having been there many times, I can say that for Cincinnati, this place is great. Good people, ok food, good atmoshphere, and plenty of space. If you think the people in her are "too high brow" for you, or it's "too expensive", or the people at too rich - then you REALLY haven't been out of Ohio. If you are traveling to Cinci, which would be the only reason you're reading this because nobody who didn't go to gradeschool in Cinci moves there?!, then go to Teller's. It's in the best part of Cinci, and has the best crowd. But, again, it's all relative.
Check out the City.
Teller's Of Hyde Park has fantastic ambience. A huge bar in the first level of seating. Along with about twenty high top tables that seat six. The vault is a great place to have a private party. Hence "Teller's" No, they don't lock you in...but it is quite and quaint. The second floor seating wraps around the first for a more quite two - four dinning. The outside bar is great. Lots of tables and a great view. The food is fantastic. The wine list is long and upscale unlike most places in Cincinnati. Be nice to your server, they must carry your food from the basement kitchen.
