I love Bonbonerie!!.
When I first discovered Bonbonerie, it was before the recent renovation, and I was so struck by the whimsy and perfection of the teahouse. I loved to have quiche, rooibos tea, and cookies with my young daughter, and just enjoy the experience. Since the renovation, the building does seem far less homey, friendly, and if I had never been there before, I probably would not think it was as fantastic. Bonbonerie did lose some of it's appeal and originality when the changes were made. However, the bakery and the tea is still amazing. Food as art is such an inherently appealing concept, and the Bonbonerie is a beacon to all those that truly enjoy what they eat. I am never disappointed with the variety and adorable whimsy of their pastries and cakes. I still bring all out of town guests to Bonbonerie as a "place to experience in Cincinnati". I purchased my wedding cake from the Bonbonerie, and the experience and customer service was wonderful. A limited selection of Bonbonerie's pastries and cakes are also available at Jungle Jim's in the bakery section. If you haven't been to the Bonbonerie, definitely go!!

Disapponting to say the least!.
Being new to the area, I had heard that I needed to try Bonbonerie. What a letdown! The service really did leave lots to be desired and everything seemed rushed. The biggest disappointment was in the quality of the baked goods. I have traveled extensively throughout the US and have sampled some of the best baked goods out there. Unfortunately, those at the BB did not measure up. Seems that many people around here have had this place as their only experience and this is unfortunate. People in NKY/Greater Cincinnati don't know what they are missing by thinking BB is the best to be had. How wrong they are!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Not people friendly. Not willing to go any extra miles for the customer. I ordered graduation cookies for my daughter. I had to prepay which was fine but was VERY UNHAPPY that 2 days prior to her event I noticed another cut out that was better for her age. I called the bakery to change her order. The cookies had not even been made yet. Because it was not three days prior to pick up it was two they would not change the order. I feel I prepaid so I was stuck. I have always enjoyed the pastry at Bonbonerie but have never ever been given great customer service. I continue to always return because I love their work but this was it for me.

Bakery whips up some of Cincinnati's most memorable cakes..
In Short
Tucked away in O'Bryonville, the Bonbonerie is known for supplying many Cincinnati restaurants with its decadent desserts, but the bakery's stellar reputation was first built on wedding cakes. An on-site wedding coordinator works with couples to select flavors, design and decor; the latter may include fresh flowers or even family heirlooms. The adjoining Tea Room is filled with preppy ladies enjoying the changing variety of fresh soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts.

Best bakery in Cincinnati! Hands down!!.
This place is fantastic...every single thing i've tried from here is delicious. They do wedding cakes and other special occasion cakes (try the bumbleberry in the summer or the white chocolate raspberrry), and make a variety of specialty cookies and baked goods. Their coffee is deliicious, as is their coffeecake and selection of teas. It's a good place to have breakfast with the girls.
