If you are into not getting paid for lay over, truck ordered not used and lied to about detention, I would highly recommend you call TQL.
People STAY AWAY from these morons. We handled 30 loads for them delivered on time and no issues. The last load handled for them was a partial that the receiver claimed that had damage. I called TQL rep John Erb who handled the load he would not call me back. I emailed several times till I finally reached their in house counsel. Chris Brown (no not the singer) is when I got the claim emailed. This took almost a month while they were holding 40k of our freight bills for loads that had nothing to do with the last shipment. WHY DO WE CARRY 250K of cargo? When we contact the receiver he claimed that they repaired the damages told me to call John at TQL he was instructed by John. NO pics were provided of the damages or given us the opportunity to have our insurance send out an adjuster. ****PLEASE DON"T USE THEM! we paid the driver, the fuel, the truck and trailer payment, the insurance for the move and they carelessly gouged us. They they claim that they did what we agreed to and kept calling us so we don't post the truth. Look on all their reviews there are plenty of carriers posting their experience I'm surprised there isn't a class action against them.
USE CH Robinson or Landstar companies that work with the carriers not against them.

AGENTS ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL – EXPECT TO BE TREATED LIKE A PEON! HERE ARE SOME OF THE RIDICULOUS THINGS YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT UP WITH: SOMETIMES THE WORDING ON THEIR CONFIRMATIONS WILL MAKE YOU THINK YOU ARE GETTING REIMBURSED FOR LUMPER FEES BUT THEY HAVE A PLAY ON WORDS.
GOD FORBID YOUR DRIVER IS SLEEPING DURING THE TIME WHEN A CHECK CALL IS EXPECTED OF HIM, THEY WILL DEDUCT YOU AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.
THEY GO ON POWER TRIPS AND TELL YOU THAT YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE OR ELSE YOU WILL NEVER BE ALLOWED TO LOAD WITH THEM.
THEY WILL SHORT PAY YOU AND USE ANY EXCUSE WHEN YOU CALL FOR A BREAKDOWN OF ALL THEIR HIDDEN FEES. IT'S NOT ACCOUNTS PAYABLE WHO DOES IT..IT IS THE AGENTS.
AS UNPROFESSIONAL AS THESE PEOPLE ARE I WONDER IF TQL RECRUITS THE MORALS OUT OF THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE HUGE THIEVES!! A LOT OF THEM ARE JUST REAL CRABS FOR NO REASON..MAKES YOU THINK THEY DON'T GET PAID ENOUGH..ALL THE BUSINESS AND DEDUCTIONS THEY MAKE ARE ONLY TO FEED THE COMPANY ITSELF.
INSTEAD OF REVAMPING THEIR WEBSITE, THEY SHOULD REALLY TAKE A LOOK AT THEIR STAFF AND CHANGE THAT...THE STUFF THAT REALLY MATTERS WHEN IT COMES TO BUSINESS. I HAVE WARNED PEOPLE OF THE CRAZY BEHAVIORS AND THEY LATER FOUND OUT I WAS RIGHT! A LOT OF DRIVERS THAT HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR A WHILE DO NOT LOAD FOR TQL AND YET TQL CALLS ALL OF US BEGGING TO TAKE A LOAD BECAUSE THEY PISS A LOT OF PEOPLE OFF!!
Worst company & brokers to work with – V&A Carriers has been working with TQL for years with no losses and claims until last year. V&A Carrier truck was late for delivery due to the road condition. The load was suppose to be delivered by 10 p.m. but delivered at 7:00 a.m. TQL charge V&A Carriers for loss customer and late delivery $5900.00. The contract with TQL and V&A Carrier stated $250 for late delivery. So many time when arriving at a pick up and waiting for hours or even day to be loaded and we waited but just for one late delivery they charge as a very high amount. I WANT TO WARN ALL CARRIERS WHO ARE STILL WORKING WITH TQL TO BE EXTRA CAUTION WITH WORKING WITH THEM OR LEAVE BEFORE YOU GET CHARGED THAT MUCH OR MORE!!!!!
Their claim department and sales managers have no respect to carriers. This is an owner from V&A Carrier writing from the companies experience. One I was told from my friends transportation companies Delta Transportation, AMG Transportation, Altex Enterprises that i was going to have problems with TQL but I did not listen. This message is to everyone who is thinking to start doing business with TQL, don't start or you will experience what I experienced with them. WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!!!! Worst Broker Ever – Super bad customer service... "professional" agents are super rude... They reduce every dollar of your load and even if you agree they dont pay your invoice... Thik twice before doing business with this company... if not you will regret it....
Terrible Place to work!!!!!!! – After working for TQL for two years, I greatly regret ever starting. If you are thinking of possible employment with TQL PLEASE RECONSIDER NOW. Once you start they will have you sign a contract that bars you from working at another company in the Transportation industry. The MGT is garbage, the pay is HORRIBLE, the hours are rediculous, and time off? NOT A CHANCE! If you are a trucking company thinking of working with TQL - better think again! They will short you every chance they get. Expect lots of claims and no respect.
