Honesty and Expertise. I have known Jerry Witkowski, owner of A Violin Maker's Workshop, for many years. He is truely an expert and consummate craftsman. He is also impeccably honest. I sent all my violin students to him for years and their violins came back working perfectly and easily. If you have an instrument that's sitting in your closet, Jerry will put it into flawless shape. He will also tell you its true and actual value.

worthless. I have been playing violin for a few years now, I was very happy when we moved to the westside of town and I saw there was a violin shop so close to us. I have been to this locations many times, the hours on the door are different than the hours listed on the web site, (web site has them listed as opening at 1:00, hours on the door say 2:00) and why they even bother posting hours is a mystery to me since they never seem to be there even when they are supposed to be open. I have managed to find someone there twice during posted hours once it took more than 20 minutes for me to purchase rosin, the other time I stopped by for a set of strings and they had 2 of the 4 in stock. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business, but I find it quicker and less stressful to order any supplies I need on line.
