This agency is a total scam. Run and run fast. The owner Jake Lang is unprofessional, rude, arrogant, scam artist...need I say more. Please listen to the reviews, they are accurate. AND any review that is positive is most likely written by Jake. Anytime an agency wants a web fee to "post pictures" before they even see the talent raises red flags. The website has models that are no longer with the agency. The main point is Wings is a scam, Jake will take your money, if you are serious about modeling do your homework and research agencies before handing money over for "modeling" classes.

Jake Lang is Amazing!!! My daughters have been working with him for almost a year now and it has been a great experience. After signing with Wings, the girls have had some wonderful opportunities. Jake has the knowledge and connections to get you where you want be. I have nothing but compliments for Jake and his staff at Wings Model Management.

The two years I spent with Jake were useless. He just doesn't work for everyone. Only a few. I don't know if an honest word has even been uttered from his mouth. I caught him in a lie every single time I spoke with him. If questioned, he has a diva fit. He's a strange unhappy man. Stay away. I'm modeling successfully now, only because I got away from Jake Lang and Wings. Save yourself two painful years. Go with any other agency but Wings. AND, he owes me money he said he would never pay me. "Everyone leaves Jake", that's what one of his assistants told me. FYI one of the "good" reviews on this website. I completely understand now. He refuses to pay people, that must be how he makes his money. Keeping it all. What a loser.

Two thumbs up for Wings!! I've been modeling for 6 years now, 4 of them with Jake! My career did a 180 once I signed with Wings! Through my previous agency I received two jobs in two years, with very few calls for even an audition. Since signing with Jake I have had consistent work and consistent OPPORTUNITIES to get work. I've been able to travel the world and yes make money! The biggest point I can stress to anyone considering this field is that Jake can only get you in the room and in front of the right people. As the talent it is your job to win the work not Jakes, as with any agent and talent. Everyone isn't meant for the business but those who are Jake is your guy! Jake aside, Wings as a whole has filled every expectation I've had. Never have I felt unprepared or unsure of what to expect going into a job or worse then that, felt stranded in a foreign place with no one to call. Wings is always very responsive and personable, reaching out to me to make sure I am always comfortable and aware of what is expected of me! If this is something you want Jake can make it happen!

Just wanted to take a minute to Thank everyone for the wonderful comments. For those who have comments of the other nature for us we are truly sorry that you feel the way you do. Regardless of what these few are saying we do always work hard for all of our models and clients no matter what and will continue to always do so!

I dont understand why people are on here talking bad about Jake.. He is absolutely AMAZING! Ive been with him for about 15 years and I am completely satisfied. im 20 years old and ive lived in NYC and im currently living in Los Angeles. Ive done the Expos. AMTC to be exact .. Thats how I got exposed. The award Ceromonies are for us to enjoy ourselves and have a good time. Ive signed with agents in New York And LA through the Expo. its def worth the money. Especially if this is really what you want. I was on the verge of giving up my dream when I got pregnant in high school. Jake stuck with me through thick and thin every step of the way and that is why im in LA now. All these people complaining about having to move to LA and pay rent,bills,ETC.. It's not jakes job to support you. HIS JOB ENDS WHEN YOU GET THE AUDITION.. THE REST IS UP TO YOU. Im forever grateful that I met jake and that he has opened so many doors for me. I would not be here today if it werent for him. Everyone needs to realize this is a hard business to be in and not everyone makes it. Matter of fact, MOST people dont make it. You cant blame jake because your child isnt getting jobs. its up to the casting directors whether or not your child has the right look to come to the audition. Just because you have an agent doesnt mean you will get work. There is cost. You need to be exposed, You need pictures, you need to get out there. Jake isnt supposed to do it all for you. His jobs is to send your photo to people so they can see you. if they dont like you its not jakes fault.

Also jake shouldnt have to pay for your child to get their pictures for their portfolio. If you want this YOU have to be willing to do whatever it takes. He definitely isnt a liar or a scammer if he has so many succesful actors/models. I thank jake as much as i can for everything that he has done for me.

Realistic, Savvy and Manages well.. Satisfied and Very pleased.

We signed and have been affiliated with Wings Model Management for the past 4 years with no complaints. Turnaround time for payment can be lengthy, but not outside of the industry norm for collection. Jake Lang is realistic and has solid connections around the world. This is a very competitive business so 'making it' isn't always easy. Wings can't make it happen for you unless you do your part and work hard. If you want photos, be prepared to do a lot of testings. Building a book is a part of a model's job. Attitude is important. If you or your parent are hard to work with, it's kind of a given that you might not get cast into jobs. Wings gave the guidance and encouragement, while we were in the 'minors' and just like a team has star athletes, I guess agencies put in top players who can deliver. All business is bottom line driven. Wings delivered on the promise, so we plan to stay loyal.

Terrible Agency!!. Jake Lang signed my daughter then spent two years lying to us about everything. He plays favorites and only sends his fav models to castings, only pushes the favorites. He claims this is untrue - then why have others said the same thing about him? He never updates the models pictures on the website unless they are his favorites. My daughter's pictures were never updated but his favs get new pics put up regularly. He charges hundreds of dollars to be "put up" on the website like it costs him money to throw up a picture. Other agencies do this for free. Scam.

Don't get sucked into the Expo - he tries to make money off everyone that way and it is another scam.

He hates email and sends back nasty rude replies. I can't imagine how he keeps any clients with his unprofessionalism. My daughter never made any money because there were no castings. but he pushed free photoshoots for her with some not so good photographers. Look at how many models are on his site - too many for him to take care of. Once they leave, he keeps their pics up because he doesn't want anyone to know how many are unhappy with him and leave.

Do yourself, your son or daughter a favor and find another agency that won't lie, scam or insult you or your child.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!. What a disappointment. He also tried to get my daughter to go to some Dallas convention for several thousand dollars. This was to meet casting directors and agents from other parts of the US. If you gogle "modeling scams" online this will tell you NOT to go with any agency that does these sorts of things.

My daughter never worked....that is for $$$$. Lots of less than stellar "photoshoots" that were to help her build her book. Many times these "professional" photographers would cancel at the last minute. Most are just newbies trying to build their own book.

I agree with the other review, Jake is very negative and has nothing nice to say about anyone. He has a few girls and boys that work, but the rest of the models on his site don't. Most of them aren't even modeling w wings any longer. Go look into Haymen, and several others, but don't go w Jake, you'll regret it. I cannot imagine anyone giving this agency a 5 or a 2 star for that matter. I did some investigating and cannot find a single model or parent that is happy w wings. Even if you do work you'll never get the $$$.

Seriously, save yourself and your child the heartache. Go somewhere else.

Best agency in tristate area. My name is andrew andIv been a model with wings model management for over 4 years now. I met with jake after sending my high school senior pictures. Very polite and straight forward. He submitted my photos to newyork. I flew to nyc and met with a few agencies that he had arranged with me to meet with. Since then, jake has set me up with agencies in MIAMI, LOS ANGELES, MILAN, HONG KONG, SINGAPORE and MALAYSIA. Wings model management has always been profeshional about making sure i recieve my payments and always making sure i recieve proper treatment when im working abroad.I have never waited longer than the standard time that all agencies take to pay the models . If you have the right look wings will do all they can and i would recommend this model agencie to anyone looking to try break into the model scene.
