Excellent Place. Ok, first things first. I get it, its in a busy part of town, I understand its an office building. I was anticipating a little more ambience when I initially walked in, however after I was greeted by the receptionist, I decided to give the place a fair shot. My therapist was great, her room was very relaxing adorned with candles. Overall I give this place 4 stars because the service was excellent. Not a 5 because of the office building setting.

Avoid this place!. I went here with an open mind. I had heard both good and bad, but expected to have a professional, relaxing experience. The front desk staff was not courteous, or professional, they had no change available but could only take a credit card. The masseuse was awkward and wanted to chat the whole time. Massaging and talking do not go hand-in-hand. I had to tell her 3 different times I was there to relax, and not to chat. Who wants to chat while being massaged? Unless it is related to a bodyache or related to *why* you need a massage, no thanks! She wanted to talk about how long I had lived in the city, if I had kids, etc. She would just blurt out stories of her massage school training, etc, at random times. Very unprofessional. Not relaxing. The masseuse had potential, definitely, but seemed very new and inexperienced. I'm not sure how this place stays in business! Perhaps folks return that have never really had a *quality* massage experience? I don't get it. I would not go back here! Don't waste your time!

Would not recommend. A friend and I purchased a groupon for Inner Peace Holistic Center's massage services. While I liked the friendly attitudes of the employees, I was overall disappointed in their services. For various reasons I did not think it was a great massage, any of my friends could have probably given as good of one. Also, I did not anticipate that the masseuse would talk the whole time and I felt bad asking her to be quiet, so I had trouble relaxing or focusing on the massage. I left feeling like I chit-chatted for an hour. While I was going to tip anyway, the receptionist asked about my friend and I tipping as we were walking back to the entryway, which I thought was tacky.

Really bad. I planned a special 'spa day' for my daughter and I and read a good review online about this place. I scheduled a hot stond massage, a deep tissue massage and two pedicures. When we arrived, we were told "the other pedicure station was 'broken' so we couldn't do two pedicures, did we want a manicure?" Then the massage therapist doing the hot stone massage had never done one before and fiddled with the stones the whole hour. The deep tissue massage was good, but overall, this place is dirty and ridiculously bad.

Do they not want to stay in business?. I bought the Groupon for a bamboo massage and found they were out of bamboo for about 2 months. I finally got an appointment, (with bamboo) and like many others, my appointment was canceled last second.

A few weeks later, I called for another massage, and they wanted to charge regular price for the amount of any other massage rather than honor the Groupon despite the fact that over and over again, they "got bad bamboo!" When I continued to call (and they continued to "get bad bamboo") they maintained their stance that any other massage would cost regular price.

I never went there, and based on their ridiculous display of customer service, I never would. On my last attempt, still plagued with "bad bamboo," the receptionist snidely remarked, "You people had 6 months to use the Groupon, and our owner isn't letting you make appointments for the day before it expires unless you're paying full price for another service."

Call Groupon! I did and they will refund your money and refuse to run another deal from this spa.
