In Short – This is an excellent place to scope out the city. You can see across the Ohio River to Kentucky, follow the Licking River, which flows north from Kentucky into the Ohio River, and look westward toward Indiana. To the east, check out the domed twin towers of Procter & Gamble, the city's largest corporation. You can also see the John A. Roebling Bridge, an impressive suspension structure that resembles a miniature Brooklyn Bridge.

A piece of history

by arlybest at Citysearch

My son was visiting town and hadn't been up to the Carew tower as a child - so we took a trip. Still affordable. GREAT VIEW! Old elevator and architecture are wonderful. Quaint little gift shop had everything from post cards to shot glasses. If you want to see the City of Cincinnati (and Kentucky) for miles and miles, visit on a clear day and get some great pictures. Afterwards, go down to the food court and have more fun!

  • Pros: Great views, good price, historical
  • Cons: Old old elevator for last two flights
