Don't bother with Thoma & Sutton. If you don't find sitting waiting way pass your appointment time and being told it'll be soon. NOT. even got there early - my mistake. apparently had only 1 "eye person" and he was still waiting on the only other person there. Front desk personel were indifferent.
Great Dr! Very Nice Frames and lenses.
Dr Howell spent more time with me than any other eye Dr has ever had. Explained things in great detail and very caring.
I love the frames I got, and the lenses were perfect. Took 5 working days for them to show up which is what I expected.
Excellent Value for the money, Granted they are more expensive than the low cost stores, But they are so worth it. I will be a repeat customer!
Thoma Sutton Terrible Service and Quality.
Got a pair of glasses at the Kettering location late 2010.
A lense popped a week later and I was told the glasses would have to be remanufactured. Two weeks ago it happened again!! I took the glasses for repair but Louise told me they would have to be remade again!! I called a week later and was told the lab did not have the lense I need and the glasses would be at least another week to a week and a half!! I complained and was told Louise would call me but she never did! This company is an unmitigated disaster!! They have a no refund policy, too! Do not get your glasses here!!
terrible customer service. I decided to go to Thoma & Sutton because they take my insurance, but I doubt I'll be going back - at least to the downtown location. The customer service people aren't very friendly - not exactly rude, but not very nice either. They behaved as though they didn't care whether I was a customer or not. To top that off, I ordered a pair of prescription glasses and was told it would take up to 7 business days. I was informed after calling twice after 8 business days that the lab had broken the lenses and they had to be re-ordered from the manufacturer, re-cut at the lab (which is only in Northern Kentucky), and then sent downtown. I was also told that my glasses won't be here until SEVENTEEN DAYS (twelve business days) after I ordered them. They did nothing to address my frustration and dissatisfaction. They did not even inform me of the delay until after I made several inquiries. I am only giving them 2 stars because I thought the doctor I saw, Dr. Howell, was nice.
